Winter Weather / Re: Winter Storm Thread: 2011-12 Season
« on: March 13, 2012, 09:49:28 PM »
Strange weather indeed, up until this month I spent most of my winter doing this whenever it got cold and no storm was around or there was a storm system and it turned into a severe weather outbreak. I've been punished with a rather boring winter, I hope I'm not punished with a brutal summer too.  :(

I'm gonna start in order with the Pilot titled "Never Trust Well Paid Doctors". It's amazing how the last draft I did of this was in March 2011 and I still need to cut a page or two of material.

Secondary characters introduced in the Pilot:
Farrah (Kara's twin sister)
Rodney (Daniel's dad)
Captain Beamington (Daniel's boss at the police station)
Jeremy Rhodes (Daniel's best friend and cop partner)
Harvey (Daniel's other best friend)
Dr. Hill (Family Therapist; only appears once again in Season 3)
Ashley (Queen Bee Popular 8th Grader)
Colby (Ana's male best friend/baseball teammate)
Miguel (Melody's boyfriend/neighbor)
Judge Patterson (Only appears in court related scenes)
Chief Dale

I'm ready to suppress and forget this anti-Winter didn't happen.  :itsok: I'm actually content with the warm weather now. Although 80s in March are unusual, but not impossible. Records for Wed/Thu are in jeopardy of being broken or tied here, but surprisingly they are not that far back. The one for Wed. is 82 from 1989 and Thu. is 81 from 1973.

Vans (multicolored; blue/black/grey/white) sneakers - $45

Size 12 :blushing:
I wear the same size, no worries :P

And Vans shoes are awesome :D

I blame my cursed flat feet for my large shoe size. Before now I never wore Vans shoes, but the pair I got have very soft cushioning and are comfortable.

I'm noticing a trend with my YT channel imp, every time I get a new subscriber I get an email notice on a new copyright notice on one of my videos.  So the solution here is to stop getting additional subs, spread the word imp. :P

From the few I've heard this seems like it'll be a heck of a lot better than the previous list. Except for a couple of annoying holdover ones that played from the previous list.  <_<

Does NBC save money by hiring only amateurs and interns to do the job?  Or are "qualified" technicians just that incompetent?  Or is the studio inadequate and the producers just don't care?

Yes, yes, and....wait for it....well yes. :P I don't know what the problem is but the monitor that displayed the PM Edition titlecard sure looked like it had a nasty case of the stomach flu with that godawful puke green.

From what I heard, the UR is holding steady at 8.3% while 227,000 new jobs were generated in February 2012, the highest in about 4 years.

Anyone hear that song that played around 1:48pm et today? I only heard about the last 10 seconds of it. It sounds pretty good.

EDIT: I don't know if this makes a difference, but I heard it on the HD feed.

I always felt like that video wall was just eye candy for them. You know just to have something to brag about with it being so massive in size. I obviously don't know what brand/manufacturer it's from but maybe they got a bad HDTV brand if they have to keep repairing it, not all of them are that great as far as their maximum life expectancy.
