I guess they didn't want to zoom the map out too far so they set it to split the area of Hawaii into two maps. I doubt they would use multiple metro maps for any other area outside of Hawaii.

« on: April 09, 2012, 11:13:00 PM »VH1 Classic, a music channel dedicated to all things classic hard rock and metal, is now showing the sitcom "Married... with Children" on the network. What does that show have to do with hard rock and/or metal?Wow. That's really sad. It's a "classic" channel, yet it still falls to the pressure to "please everyone." Speaking of MWC, I've never understood the appeal of that show. Awful characters and awful writing. Okay, Kelly and Bud's girlfriend in later seasons were hot, but other than that, the show had no redeeming qualities IMO.
It's syndicated just as much as That 70's Show sheesh.
And I disagree, I always liked MWC, it wasn't the best sitcom and the last couple of seasons weren't as great, but it was still a good show to me.

I'm not sure if I've ever asked about this here, but out of curiosity, anyone know if any other local news stations did this "clear news" rebranding? According to the person who uploaded it, it was a failed experiment. I actually like it, I guess it was too well ahead of it's time, it probably could have worked today.

On another note, is anyone else having an issue with YouTube where the default quality for a video is the lowest possible? For example, I am viewing a video with 240, 360, 480, and 720p, and it was automatically selected for 240p.Originally, the default quality would be the highest possible, so something may be wrong with my internet, computer, idk.

I believe so, I've seen a couple of times where an OCM made a comment about a certain song that just played before coming back on the air especially if it's a song they like.

« on: April 09, 2012, 08:41:58 AM »It's all about NBC having their cake and eating it too. They want Al Roker to have his own weather show but still able to do the Today show. Lets just be thankful they are comfortable experimenting with one OCM rather than packing up the studios and shipping them to NYC.
I am disappointed that Steph and Mike wont be physically together but after their..... lets just say bumpy personal relationship.... I think they might both be more comfortable.
I think this will probably happen eventually.
