Programming and Graphics / Re: YWT Relaunch

I like this refresh better than the previous look. Looks very Today Show-ish if you ask me...not that that's a bad thing though.

I thought the same thing when looking at the graphics used on the teaser and I also agree that it's a whole universe better than the previous graphics.

Just caught the intro at 8am MT-wow, I agree! Sharp looking! Very sharp! Anyone catch YWT? I couldn't will myself to wake up that early today.  :bleh:

As stated in the the YWT Relaunch thread, I'll post one of the two versions in that thread later. I'll try to get the one that includes Stephanie and Mike tomorrow.

Was not a aware there was a YWT relaunch thread.

That's because you keep posting right above it, everytime I make a post in there. :P

The pop up message is really the only way I know I'm getting a PM, I never pay the number any attention until I get that pop up message so I find it useful.

Generic Opener

NOTE - For some reason the tag to crop videos to 16:9 aspect video ratio isn't working if you're using Chrome, it does work in IE9.

For those who didn't see it, there seems to be two versions of this show's opener. One that includes Mike and Stephanie and the other that I'm guessing is generic. I'll post the generic version here later.

It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be graphics wise, I like the opener, but they need to pull the L3rds up some so the text doesn't run too close to the top of TWC logo. They had this problem with the relaunch in June 2009. Also as IcemanNYR pointed out,  they need a new NY studio, it's extremely too small and something that they should have been trying to develop first before starting this experiment.

Maybe they have been hanging around Chris and Crystal for too long. I kid, I kid.  :P

(eh, not really...)

She looks great with short or long hair, two good examples right here.

It's amazing how a game as simple as that can feel like you're playing for the very first time if you don't play them for a very long period of time.
I think I would do better with normal driving games as opposed to kart driving games.

I'm going to work a 10-day stretch of shifts starting tomorrow, so wish me luck as I'll need it to make it through.

Good luck, you might be exhausted afterwards, but I bet those 10 days will fly by super fast.

I've barely played those kart driving games.  I'd hate to know how I would fare now if I tried.

Looking at some of the severe wx coverage yesterday, I see their promoting the WUWA change.

Kim really does look different that she has. She looks like to me she's lost a little weight in her face/neck area and she's gotten a little more wrinkles... the hair really threw me off. I liked it better the other way.

There was one time I saw her back in 2009 and she looked like she may have had some botox work done on her face. No offense to her, but she looked bad.

Looks like Wichita was spared a direct hit, but I can only imagine the folks in Andover, KS are sitting on pins and needles right now. For those who don't know they were hit by a F5 tornado back in April 1991.
