Interesting how he described The Weather Channel as "a service. And that "people tune in and out" for the weather. It would seem the new owners want TWC to be the opposite of that
Yeah, I mean, honestly, despite what the new owners want TWC to be, I and I am sure a lot of others will treat it as a service and "tune in and out" because they barely show any weather anymore.
But I really don't agree with his statement that "TWC is not competing for ratings." Uh, yeah it is?
He should really do his homework. He probably thinks that just because they're the single running weather 24/7 cable news network around they have no reason to be competing. If they weren't competing for ratings, they wouldn't be desperately trying so hard to attract and hold viewers around, but then again this is the same guy who tried to make Nicole's work discriminatory dilemma a political issue which made absolutely no sense.
I'm glad she has other evidence to back up her case such as those emails she mentioned. Hopefully that will help strengthen her lawsuit against the network.

Revised the LDL to look similar to the Satellite LDL that is actually used on TWC.
I also revised the Right Now page because in retrospect, I think the wild bright colors of the background were a bit too much, along with the template looking a little too cluttered so I moved the animated weather background behind the template fading in. NOTE: The animated background would only appear if precip was being reported, I used "Snow/Wind" as an example of how that would work. If the sky observation was anything outside of rain/snow/sleet/freezing rain/thunderstorms the generic still sky background would be shown on the Right Now page just as it's shown on the other pages.
Some other little changes
Mixing in Arial fonts along with Helvetica and Grotesk fonts.

This version is just a generic gradient blue background, it would have no still sky image or animated weather in the background. A video response will be posted below if you want to compare the differences from the first final draft.

Unfortunately, people do get fired for business reasons, as stated with Alexandra Steele and with the other layoffs in 2008 and 2009, so I don't see how she can fight that very vague statement--"business reasons."
That's the problem, anyone can use the lame excuse of firing someone for "business reasons" so they don't have to justify the real reason for the firing. The fact that they won't giver her or her lawyer a straight answer to what that specifically means would tell me they want to hide what she already knows.

NOTE: Temporarily skipping episodes 11 and 13 and jumping ahead to Season two. Episode 14 was a Halloween themed episode that I posted last October so I won't post that one again.
SEASON TWO EPISODE 15: FARRAH, KARA WHACKED SHUT
Episode Description: While at one of his GRA meetings (A version of the NRA), Daniel meets Leonato, an Italian mobster who’s trying to keep his high life of crime on the down low until Daniel makes a comment to him about how he wishes his sister in law Farrah would just die, Leonato and his gang of mobsters go out to kill Farrah, taking Daniel's comment as a green-light to whack her off even though Daniel didn't intentially want Leonato to put a hit out on her. Kara and Farrah are downtown when Leonato goes in for the kill on Farrah, but he doesn’t know whether Kara is Farrah or Farrah is Kara since they’re both twins, so he kidnaps and holds them both as hostages.

No problem Donovan, I have to give you credit again, but for a different titlebar of yours you made that I'm using for my SmartCast STAR Project. These are some changes I made since 2 months ago in April.
Didn't take very long to make these changes, most of the work went into the background, LDL, and modifying the titlebar some. The major change is the Right Now screen. I'm not sure if I'm gonna keep icons on that page or not.

I couldn't tell for sure if you did, but you might wanna add some shadowing or a light black outline on the Severe Thunderstorm Warning text and the NWS text.
