The ECMWF is soooooo overrated.  :P j/k or am I?.... :fear:

Seriously though, I agree 100% with NHC's current track. I've been thinking that since this morning. Plus I've been hoping against hope we get some heavy rain from it to wipe away this God forsaken drought.  :innocent: :innocent:

EDIT: I feel awfully bad about this, but I kinda want the 12z Euro today to be right, Debby sits right over my backyard Wed/Thu and it kills any chance of us hitting the century mark by week's end next week that's always a plus.

It might just sit and spin along the GC missing the trough and the ridge unfortunately. It should come my way, we still need the rain.

This track doesn't bode well for New Orleans. If you've seen the wall of rain taking up like 80% of FL you know what I mean.

NHC may have to adjust their landfall track more towards LA now that some of the models seem to be adjusting back east. I can't give the NHC grief on this, it's a tough forecast tracking wise.

EDIT: Up to 60mph, pressure down to 994mb.

:o I've only looked at the computer models concerning TS Debby. I didn't know another heatwave was coming. Amazingly, we still wouldn't tie or break the record for Thursday/Friday.

EDIT: Also, has anyone ever seen a Weather Bulletin worded this way before? :dunno:

Isn't it ironic that this show is like the only new show this year to actually have some serious relevance to weather yet it's clouded around the fact that they are being sued over work discrimination by a former employee who happens to work as a hurricane hunter? How many times must they keep FAILING before they wake up and do something right for once?  :rofl2:

A couple of years ago, Hauppauge bought the PCTV branding from Pinnacle (it was after I purchased my Pinnacle tuner, though).. as for that specific model, you won't be able to record HD off of your cable box  just ClearQAM channels at most.. if you want to record HD off of your cable box, then I really recommend that you get the Hauppauge HD PVR 1212.

I've been planning on getting this one for the past two years, but I just wanted to make sure there weren't (*cough* cheaper) alternatives. Thinking it over, $200 isn't that bad considering what it can do which is miles ahead of what my current tuner can do. I'm going to try and get this one as soon as I can within the next few days.

This doesn't really have anything to do with my original question, but it is about a TV tuner so I'll mention it here.
I saw this Hauppauge PCTV HD TV Pro TV Tuner and I was wondering is Hauppauge associated with Pinnacle? I ask because this product isn't listed on Hauppauge's website, but it has that logo on it that looks similar to Pinnacle products.

Btw, I bought some Component cables a couple of weeks ago from Target and you were right Zach, the picture quality is just as great on my HDTV when I put it on the Component channel as it does when it's on a HDMI channel.

It looks better than it did this time yesterday. A buoy ENE of the supposed center reported winds at tropical storm force so it might skip depression status whenever it gets upgraded.
