I don't know what the criteria for this is, but I wonder if I'll see the Heat Safety Tips screen today? Eh, probably not since they shrunk the LFs down in time, there may not be enough time to show it. :hmm: :(

EDIT: I forgot to mention my ID is displaying info again.

Both of those seem like a stretch to be Trammell Starks' Fair Weather.  :dunno:
I never said it was Fair Weather, I said the same sample as Fair Weather.  ;) I have heard that drum pattern in other places too.

I wasn't talking about you, I was talking about Zach, he said that. ;)

I'm surprised that Cox is on that list. We've actually had pretty good experiences with them over the years.
Me too. Though I agree that their rates are rather high. I'm surprised to see Delta on the list as well. They are my go-to airline for flights. I don't fly that often, but I've never had a problem with them.

They have had their series of problems I've heard such as customer service, handling of luggage, morality of flight attendants etc. I don't remember where they ranked, but I think they were pretty high on the list of Worst Airline Services in the Country in 2011, but I've heard this year they have improved quite a bit.

When did TWC begin the false advertising that they are Severe Storm Central? http://goput.it/auq.jpg

I think "Longform Programming Central" would be a more appropriate title. <_<

Ditto or better yet, "Contradiction Central" since they love to do that too. I remember Crystal Egger saying and I quote, well paraphrase, "We have extended our coverage of WCL to cover the severe weather and we will stay on for as long as we need to to cover the storms." Hmm, I didn't know the storms took a nap from 8-9:30pm before waking up and getting busy to wrecking havoc.

I was halfway making a joke to be honest, but then again what I said is true anyway. We all know they've ignored plenty of tornado outbreaks than we can count on our fingers and toes.

In the house with the A/C blastin' It's been holding steady at 103 (104 at the airport) for nearly 3 hours now. I'm starting to think these forecasts for us to fall into the upper 70s might be a few degrees too cool and we might not get out of the 80s tonight.

WCL extended until 5:30 ET today for severe wx/heatwave.

EDIT: Hmm, looks like they are going to extend coverage beyond 5:30pm, maybe even stay on until the 7pm edition of WCL.

Gosh, I don't think I'll ever understand TWC's criteria for pre-emption.

Not even a blizzard tornado outbreaks gets this much coverage

Fixed.  ;)
