Instrumentals on overnight: pure prairie league - early morning riser , Timbuk 3 - sunshine, different cut of Love of Strings, Ben Kopec - Perfect Emotion , 2 songs off of 7and5s new album (names escape me) and a new Lynn Patrick song

Sounds good.

Although I don't like our NBC affiliate's graphics, I like the concept of the Rundown where you can know well ahead what's going to be discussed next.

This song would probably fit in well on the primetime/overnight list imo.

Man oh man did it rain cats, dogs, lions, tigers, and bears around here! We were under a Severe T'Storm Warning for about an hour and things just started winding down within the past 5 minutes. Dang I wish I had a new camera so I could have recorded it :(, the one I have now SUCKS. Plenty of tropical rains, strong winds, and a heck of cloud to ground lightning. Our power went out about 5 times in one hour.  :o

EDIT: YAY! It's coming back again! Much needed rainfall!

STAR Emulation Flashback - July 3, 2009 (WeatherSTAR XL Version One)

Ah, this takes me back.  At this point, I had been doing STAR Emulations for about 13 months. I hate I didn't make backup copies of the ones I did back in June/July 2008, I lost the files. :(

I believe R.E.M phrased it best, "It's the End of the World As We Know It." (Sighs) I don't see a whole lot of good coming out of this. :hmm:

85, partly cloudy
DP - 64
Humidity - 49%
Winds - WNW 13mph

We are 17 degrees cooler now than we were yesterday. At this time yesterday it was 102 degrees, amazing what difference extensive morning cloud cover and rain can do to your temps. Were definitely NOT going to make the record of 99 or 100 today, I can guarantee that.  So it looks like our triple digit will last a short 3 days.

I would imagine this was the atmosphere from opponents on parts of the Healthcare Bill mandate being passed off as a tax.

The finger thing means the taxes!

And second of all, my $1300 savings from the bank has been going to Bill and Fred's house?! :club: No wonder we had to bail them and Wall Street out.  :P
Bart at the bank LOL

 I should really think before I post. That was so obvious, I was only thinking about the SC/NC part being an abbreviation for North/South Central, I wasn't even thinking about the fact that "CTL" as a whole stood for central.

Been meaning to ask this for a while, what does the "TL" stand for when they show the forecast for South/North Central regions?

RECORD EVENT REPORT
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE PEACHTREE CITY GA
0432 PM EDT SUN JUL 01 2012

...RECORD HIGH TEMPERATURE SET AT ATLANTA...

A RECORD HIGH TEMPERATURE OF 105 DEGREES WAS SET AT ATLANTA SO FAR TODAY. THIS BREAKS THE OLD RECORD OF 99 SET IN 1954.

There is still a chance we could hit 100 tomorrow, but with the chances of thunderstorms increasing tomorrow and throughout the week, that may not happen, but nonetheless we should top out into the upper 90s.

Sometimes when it first starts over with the warning the narration still plays like it did the first time, then the third time it's the 4 beeps. I've seen that happen numerous times.
