Local Forecast / Re: Songs you want to hear again on the LF

Enough said. Wouldn't mind hearing the vocal version either. Eh, I take back my earlier submission. I would like to hear this one again. I don't know why, but it reminds me of a mix between "Dear Prudence" by Jeff Lorber and "Daydreamin'" by James PJ Spraggins both of which are great songs as well. :D

Winter remains on vacation (or sick leave) here... :itsok:

66, Cloudy w/ occasional mist.
Continuous winds from the ESE at 8 mph makes it feel cooler than it really is outside.
It only gets warmer and wetter heading into the weekend as we reach the low 70s
Record High temperatures are not expected at this time.

It's always fascinating to me to hear that areas in TX, almost down near the Mexican border and have elevations as low or lower than New Orleans has seen more measurable snow than Chicago. :o If we end up beating Chicago to a major winter storm down here first then you know Chicago is having a pretty sad winter. :P

Everything Else TWC / Re: General TWC Discussion

The episodes of Storm Stories I've seen syndicated on our ABC affiliate on the weekends have mainly been the HD episodes. I think I may have seen them show an episode from 2003 or 2004 a couple of times early in the mornings.

EDIT: With the HD episodes I've noticed lately they butchered the closing credits, it cuts right to a commercial about 5 seconds or so before the credits completely end.

B: Bacon, eggs, and grits w/ toast
L: Junkfood to be honest
D: Burger
D: Sundae and Lime cake, I'm definitely full after that. :P

I still question how is it I lost weight considering I have a terrible diet. I went from around 125 to 119.

I heard "The Classic Battle" by Sam Spence during the Falcons v. Lions football game last night.

The same song, but this time in a KFC ad of all places. :P

It's unfortunate to think there will probably be a few rarely seen or never seen again forecast products since the LFs have been gutted.

I'm more interested in what kind of cities they would use differently on the LDL from the LDL used on the IS, I remember how on the first week the blue LDL debuted, they used odd and random locations like Piedmont Park for example.

The irony is mega retailers like Walmart and Target who chose to open on Thanksgiving night to make more money saw their holiday sales from Thanksgiving to Christmas fall below expectations.

Christmas was boring last year. It felt exactly like a normal Tuesday to me which is pretty bad. You know it's bad when you wake up Christmas morning and you forget it's Christmas. First time I ever thought/felt the holidays was boring and dull.

You're all way behind on the news.  They have a deal reached and can vote in the Senate tonight, the House on Tuesday, and then backdate everything to where it really doesn't impact everyone.  Here's the news if you don't believe me:

Actually I knew about the Senate vote three hours before I made my last post, but it doesn't really matter, we still technically went over the cliff because we missed the 31st deadline and the House hasn't voted on anything yet! So who knows if they'll peddle paddle their feet or not on this.
