twcfan68 gave me the XL BG, it had TWC logo on it. I cropped that off so I could be able to use that same bg for IS emulations.

Yes I saw that last night, they've already got my money. I am hoping down the road we see , like N64, gamecube treatments too. It would be literally awesome for them to release a new Gambon but with a backlog screen and pre downloaded games just for the fun of it.

If the SNES were to get a re-release like this then I would be sold. SNES will always hold a special place in my heart since it's the first Nintendo console I played on as a little kid back in the 90s. I love to be able to play on one again even if it is modernized from the original SNES.

What a neat (and random) release coming from Nintendo later this year.

They're re-releasing the NES console (in miniature form) with 30 classic NES games.

I can't believe I didn't think to post this back at the time it happened, but for anyone wondering about Heather's whereabouts, she did make an appearance doing the weather on my local NBC affiliate, WXIA-TV (11Alive) last month. She filled in for Samantha Mohr (another former TWC OCM).

I hate I didn't get a video clip, I think I was just shocked to see her again after all these years! Maybe she'll end up filling in for Sam again soon and I'll be lucky enough to capture a clip.

She did post this to her FB the day she filled in.

They're just prototype designs, but the possible portable component to the NX looks like the 3DS, minus dual screens.

For those that know, North Georgia is suffering through a drought this summer that ranges from moderate to extreme. Here in Atlanta were in the severe drought range. This rain we got today (and potentially more days coming up) is desperately needed.
