General Emulator Discussion / Re: Helpful info for emulator?

It would be a good idea to download this before it's taken down.
I have this on my computer and on my iPad's iBooks. Also, there's a very slim chance this could be taken down since it's on Internet Archive. But yeah, that's a good idea.

I found this product guide that might help with any new features: https://web.archive.org/web/20030528081623/http://rhino.twc.weather.com/affiliates/tech_support/display/product/weatherscan_local/Weatherscan_Local_2-0_Product_Guide.pdf It features things I didn't even know were on the XL Weatherscan!  :)

this happened almost 20 minutes ago.
That looks a lot like the green screen on my WeatherSTAR Junior unit, except since mine is decommissioned, it doesn't show any info on the LDL.

They must be running out of ideas for long-form programing names.  It's time to finally get rid of these ridiculous and unnecessary long-form programs for good!  I mean who even tunes into The Weather Channel to watch this crap?  :footinmouth:
No one. They're probably never going to get their reputation back after this garbage (and every other piece of reality garbage they aired, for that matter).

Who comes up with this crap in the first place?

My cable company, ridiculous as mine is, decides that the best way to type a crawl message is turning off the VideoCipher and then typing it.
My cable company, is ridiculous.

Here's a WS3000 for Gulfport, MS.
Note: I didn't fill in the time, and I couldn't find the monthly precip. :whistling:

If you go to weather.com, go to a selected city, and click on the Monthly tab on the left side you can get the precipitation data for the current month/average.

Nice work btw. ;)

Thanks for the info!

Here's the same report from the last artwork, but on the Junior.
How do they upgrade so quickly?

Looks good!

Thanks!

Local Forecast / How to find a NWS Zone, like on the 3000?
« on: June 23, 2014, 11:55:59 AM »
I'm attempting to make an emulation of the 3000 but I don't know the NWS zone for my area. Anyone know how to find one?

:velho:

The manual states that it has low power consumption and is more lightweight. Other than that, I don't know..  :dunno:

I love cheeseburgers, french fries, and chocolate shakes in my pants.
I think if I like this stuff in my pants then I have a serious problem in my pants.  :sos:
