General Discussion / Re: NBC Weather Plus Discussion

I just tuned in and they are showing a continueless satellite forecast loop with the "L" still showing its local conditions.

Oh and speaking of which, WEEK and WAND have NBC Weather Plus, the only NBC affilite that doesn't have Wx+ is KWQC. I'm able to pick up those stations and WAND and KWQC aren't avaiable on Comcast's channel line-up in my area. WQAD, the ABC affilitate from Moline, IL also has their own weather station too.

Everything Else TWC / Re: New Weekly Planner maps

I agree. You can bearly see the maps. Plus I think they're putting too much information on at the same time.
Sure you can.  I can see that my area is going to have rain, with temps in the 50's.  I don't mind it..at all.  I actually like the idea.

So, what your saying, WeatherSTARIII, is that temperatures and precipitation is too much info at the same time?
Yes. Before you know it, they will fill up the entire screen with pop-ups and messages on the screen.

Everything Else TWC / How often do you record TWC?
« on: October 22, 2008, 05:32:24 PM »
I was woundering, how many times do you often record TWC? If so, what do you use? A DVD Recorder, A VHS VCR, USB TV tuners or TV tuner cards? Or maybe even Betamaxes by any chance?

I know its nice to contribute them here on this site and on YouTube, but has anyone here ever ran out of DVDs/tapes/hard drive space and/or possibly even money to buy the media disks/tapes or subscribing to a DVR service (like Tivo)?

For me, I only recorded in December 2006, April 2007, and March 2008. My hard drive gets full after recording one day.

I don't watch it because we are stuck with Comcast and they don't have the channel avaiable in my area.

Maybe the programmers desided to redisign some of the icons to make it look eaiser to see.

TWC and your Cable Company / Re: Is cable TV going downhill?

I forgot to mention one more channel that I think jumped the shark:

34. Fox Busness Network. Reason why: Day one. Its basicly alot like their sister network, Fox News! I still think CNBC is better anyways.
