Alright, here are my predictions for this weekends NFL championship games:

Eagles 17 Cardinals 14-The Cardinals haven't been here in almost half a century. I don't think their going to make it any further. Their defense is pitiful. The only reason they've made it this far is because of a couple of good receivers. Kurt Warner is at the end of his career, and he wouldn't even be playing had the starting QB not gotten hurt. But if Donovan McNabb reverts to his old ways from earlier in the season Arizona could pull it out.

Ravens 10 Steelers 6-This game is going to be all defense for both sides. Both sides are going to be hitting hard, and I think that if the Ravens can hit Big Ben it's going to play to their advantage. Joe Flacco has been ironclad all postseason, and I think it'll take a bus to rattle him. Also, the Ravens have had 0 turnovers in the postseason. If they can continue to protect the ball like that Pittsburgh doesn't have a prayer. Hopefully since this is a playoff game the refs will be sure not to be the deciding factor. If there's a time when the players should decide the game and not the ref, this is it. Both teams have reliable kickers, so if it comes down to field goals we could very well be looking at the need for an extra quarter to decide it. But the deciding factor in this game is ultimately going to be determination. Your going to have to kill Ray Lewis and company, because their going to do everything possible to keep us from losing 3 straight to the Steelers. Neither offense is terribly great, but I believe ours is better-last week we played a defense that was light years better than the Chargers. So before the Steelers fans got too excited about last weeks win, they should have bore in mind who they played. Don't expect a rout this week.

Super Bowl-Ravens vs. Eagles

I agree with the Cardinals not winning. I just wish the "football Cardinals" would move back to St. Louis and reunite with the baseball Cardinals.

Anyways, my AFC championship predictions:

Steelers 15, Ravens 9

Super Bowl: Eagles vs. Steelers.

For me, I first discovered TWC like around 1990 or '91 (I still remember watching it back when I was 1 or 2).

This was even back when we had cable. Our old cable company used to be UA Cablevison (now Comcast) and back then, TWC used to be located right next to Nickelodeon on channel 36 (Nick in my area is on 35 and still is today). As a little kid, it was even convient to switch back and forth between channels without pressing the channel up or down buttions over and over again until when you find the channel you want to watch (I didn't know how to use a remote until like when I was 7).

Anyways, as a fellow midwestern growing up in a area which tornados pose a threat, I've always been interested with both computers and weather (I even loved watching the weather segment on the local news stations in my area). I even remembered watching TWC on day back in 1991 (I think) and I was only 2 at the time. At the same time, it stormed and I remembered seeing the red warning scrawl on our old WeatherSTAR 3000. Then I noticed that my parents were worried that a tornado might be comming. At our old house, we didn't have a basement or shelter. So, we had to quickly run over to our old neighbors house since they had a basement. I don't remember that much from that day, but I do remember watching TWC before we headed over to our old neighbors house.

Anyways, all throughout the early '90s and up until 2005, me, my step brother, and my dad used to watch TWC alot back then.

I started loosing interest of TWC back in 2005 (shortly before the relaunch). I haven't even watched TWC that much since then. Back when we had cable, I only watched for severe weather. I no longer have cable anymore since Comcast keeps raising the prices and dropping channels. 1990-mid 2005 was my favorite era of TWC, but sadly, those days are over.

I even loved watching the LFs too since I aready loved computers.

Since the internet provides weather infomation and everyone seems to be using the internet these days, do you think TWC will someday discontenue the local forecasts?
