I just found out that the support.weather.com webpage is down. I wounder if they are planning on ending support of the 4000 and Junior? They could be updating the website, who knows.

At first, I orginally thought that the XL got a major upgrade back in March 2004 when the IntelliSTAR first came out, but I later found out that it turned out to be a whole new WeatherSTAR.The intellistar never matched the on-air graphics during its six year run. Before this version, it used title bars from the 2001-2003 era. What's even more strange is that it debuted nationwide months after that era ended.And I'll never understand why they made the outdated XL look like the on-air graphics in 2005 when the only change they made to the intellistar was the background and logo - still keeping those old title bars for another two years. Sometimes TWC comes up with the strangest ideas...
I always thought the first version was just a cheap knockoff of the XL v2 with the background and the titlebars, etc. I actually confused it for the XL when it first debuted.

I don't know, it seems like 2009 was a terrible year for music on TWC. NBC took the rich tradition away of the smooth jazz and non-vocal music away. WUWA playlist is the overall worst.
