You can no longer go by the map or data availability on traffic.com. TrafficPulse now uses historical traffic data for many areas, including in markets where TrafficPulse has been available for years. TWC, as with most media outlets, does not use this historical data.

Is this also why the traffic maps have been disabled everywhere?

No. Historical data has been used by TrafficPulse for over a year now. The map issue was caused by TrafficPulse changing the coding for the maps, which screwed up TWC's.

Even if it was just Flow and Incidents Memphis should be able to get some data?

Not if Memphis uses historical data as I mentioned, which I suspect.

Let me make one point clear - anything taken out of the LDL (airports, travel cities, etc) was taken out for a reason - because people didn't find it useful! They wouldn't take out something people liked. They're called focus groups people.

I can when the graphics were obviously not developed by TWC (who would actually put thought and effort into it)... rather inside a week or so by NBC

They were developed by TWC, not NBC.

For whatever reason, "Downtown Lansing", which is far too big for that "tab" on the bigger LDL, appears when the radar and sat/rad are displayed on the LDL. However, it displays simply "Lansing" for all other CC and forecast products.

Something must have happened with the update then. They are doing away with "downtown," "metro," etc. The forecast and current ob names will soon be very specific (for example, no more "Allegheny Valley," it will become just New Kensington; "Downtown Pittsburgh" and "Metro Pittsburgh" will become just Pittsburgh, etc).

Verizon headends do not display the STAR ID or Verizon FiOS logo on station IDs. It's an issue with Verizon, not TWC.

Recently, I have come up with 3 HD local forecast concepts. I have decided to move forward with the third one, and create an entire animated LF out of that design. What do you think (about any of the concepts)? There will be no LDL.
