POST #1:

This is hilarious - as normal, the Comcast folks had no idea what I'm talking about. She turned to the channel and said "I'm seeing a bunch of cities on a map of the Midatlantic." I tried explaining things to her but she was unreasonable. She's dead now.


  (Just kidding, of course, about the dead part.)

POST #2:

Called the idiots at Comcast back and now there's a recorded message. But, I find it funny how they claim it's a localized issue and COMAST is working to correct it. Haha. Douchebags...

Anyone call Comcast before, and you enter your telephone number where you have service so they can play a recorded message if there are known issues? Well I did that, and here is the message I got word-for-word:

"Dear valued Comcast customer... we are currently experiencing technical difficulties with channel sixteen and one-o-one, The Weather Channel and Weatherscan local. Severe audio and video problems have been reported. These issues are known to be occurring in the following local Comcast locations: In the city of Pittsburgh: Downtown Pittsburgh, North Shore, Shadyside, Strip District, Brentwood, Breezewood, West View, Rankin. In the Eastern suburbs: Monroeville, Plum Boro, Penn Hills, Oakmont. Comcast technicians are working diligently to correct the problem. We apologize for the inconvenience. Enjoy your evening."

Meaniwhile.. it's a TWC issue, NOT a local issue

I'm kinda getting used to the idea of a 24/7 Trammell Music Channel. It should be added to Comcast's "Music Choice" lineup!

1:37 am - audio briefly stops, resumes after a few seconds. Sat LF still, Wxscn still frozen.

Yeah, my WxScan is frozen too.

I still can't figure out how you guys now have audio and video. I stillgot nothing but a black screen, and a silent one at that. 

Your provider probably cut the signal, several people at the Classics are reporting the same thing, too.
