You should really call someone too, especially if you don't like face-to-face discussions (guidance counselors, parents, etc). I don't know about where you live, but there are many resources available around here via toll-free hotlines (Allegheny County Mental Health Association; Allegheny County Office of Behavioral Health; Allegheny County Office of Children, Youth and Families; Allegheny County Office of Mental Retardation/Developmental Disabilities; Allegheny-East Suburban MH/MR; Pittsburgh MHA; and many more). My point is, there are tons of resources available out there should you choose to start getting help over the phone (look at all the helpful offices I found just through Google!). Anything you say is confidential.

One things clear here, however: you need to talk to someone.

You need to talk to a guidance counselor, as in make it the first thing you do when you get to school tomorrow.

General Discussion / Re: NBC WEATHERPLUS SHUTTING DOWN

This is really a ballsie move by NBC. A lot of it's affiliates have thrown tons of money in equipment and sets and graphics into the WeatherPlus brand, and now they're pouring it down the drain? Wow.

Though, in retrospect, the channel sucked anyhow. :sing:

Wonder if we'll see any WeatherPlus talent end up at TWC?

Actually, not many of their affiliates were in on it. 10 O&O's and only 80 affiliates were involved in WP. That's actually a very small percentage of the total NBC affiliates out there.

True, but thats still a lot of wasted money. Especially when you consider most WX+ affiliates are the top 125 markets - the ones with the money to build custom sets around the branding.

WX+ was even planning a new look debut to debut soon. Guess not any more. :P

Well, Comcast still had the STAR in its possession, it was just no longer in use. I wonder if other STARs in the area decommissioned at the same time were brought back...

This is odd... at some point last week, the retired-22434 (New Kensington headend) was brought back! This area had been seeing 22420 since mid-2006! Wonder what made Comcast bring it back all of a sudden?

I should also note that this STAR has been reconfigured since it was decommissioned. It still serves the same area, but has a different metro map, as well as different radar cities. The forecast title is now "ALLEGHENY VALLEY AREA" as well.

At school my all time favorite food is the breakfast fruit-filled churros. They're SOOOOO good. So good I'd bang one. :pirate:
