We call that Integrated Math around these parts.

I got lost in math once they started adding letters. In fact, I even remembering telling that 5th grade teacher what a crazy bitch she was - that letters belonged in English class, not on my math problems. Thus, I did not go out for recess the rest of the week.

« on: October 12, 2008, 09:57:55 PM »I'm awaiting my SAT scores (due in October 23rd) and then I'm applying to Slippery Rock University (my 1st choice), and Indiana University of PA (2nd choice), and Penn State Erie (3rd choice). And guess what I'm not going for... meteorology or graphic design. I'm planning on applying for criminal justice. The little boy who wants to be a detective still haunts me deep down inside.
Very interesting. I always wanted to get into that field too, but I was just never sure if I had the stomach for it.
Yeah, it does take a stomach, though I think I can do it. My ultimate goal would be to work for the Pittsburgh Bureau of Police. I just keep ruminating whether or not I'm making a mistake by not getting into a field in which I know I'm good at - graphic design.

One would assume that one of two things would happen:
i) it will be discontinued
ii) the affiliate will replace the WeatherPlus branding, and use a third party weather vendor to start another 24/7 local weather (or weather/traffic/news) channel
