I talk to myself. Does that count for anything?

Man I wish NBC didn't acquire TWC.
...because they're changing the logo color to green for a week? I think the NBC purchase has been good thus far, and I foresee a better future for TWC. :twothumbs:

Yeah, I think everything starts tomorrow.

How new is Ray Stagich? :dunno: He probably doesn't have a bio page yet; hopefully TWC will add him soon.

He's not new. In fact, not even close to being new.

- Lock Policy signs (25) displayed around the high school
Wait, so does this mean that when the school puts locks on your lockers at school, you have to deposit $5? wtf.

The new policy means that if you want a lock on your locker, you MUST use a SCHOOL-ISSUED lock, not a personal one. To obtain a school lock, you have to deposit $5, all of which will be given back when you return the lock to the office. The reason they are requiring you to use a school lock is so if they school cut off your lock (lost key, searching of locker, etc), they won't have to pay for it.

- 5 foot sign for one teacher's overused phrase

This one hurt my eyes. Why is it all one word?

It's a phrase (pronounced "Quit-yer-belly-aching") a popular teacher says regularly. Believe me, it's a lot easier to read on the 5 foot sign.

For the past year, I've been work with school administration officials to create a new public image for the school district. This includes letter head, outdoor traffic signs, posters, and much more. Below is just a sampling of my work. I'll post more later on. I'm responsible for creating, printing and delivering all the materials. In return, I am receiving all my necessary community service hour needed for graduation (a requirement). The plan is that after school is out for the summer, they will hire me full time (8 hour day M-F) to do work for them graphic-related, until I move to college. Pretty neat IMO.

(Thumbnails are clickable)

- 20 poster-size signs displayed throughout the high school

- Lock Policy signs (25) displayed around the high school

- 5 foot sign for one teacher's overused phrase

- 5 long banners for teacher's night

- 3 aluminum signs for outside the high school's back entrance

- 25 aluminum signs for around the high school, both inside and out

- 3 very large separate signs for inside the main office

- another version of the above signs for the guidance office

- certificate for Rookie of the Year

- 100 gift certificates; prizes differed

- 6 large anti-bully pledge posters for signatures

- 30"x30" aluminum sign for outside the athletic fields entrance

- 1 static window cling for outside a high school door

- this project not for the school district, bur rather for local emergency management coordinators. I did 10 of these at 25" big.

I had braces for 4.5 years, and there was nothing inconvenient or painful about them (except the 6-week interval appointments).

People need to stop taking these week long vacations and get back to work on their normal schedules... As soon as Alexandra returns in January, I hope things get back on track. It's bothering me a lot.
Shall I get you a tissue? :cry3:
