TWC plays smooth jazz all the time

Thank you Captain Obvious. :D
Do you like TWC music Tyler?

Uh, yes. That's about a third of the reason why I watch TWC.

Windows 7 is a LOT better than Vista. I compare this to when Windows ME came out, it was a pile and then XP came out and it was like 100% better. Even for a BETA Windows 7 is great. Also, there's not much OSX copying, it's just fanboys getting upset that it kinda looks like it even though its a lot different.
I couldn't agree more.

I agree as well. It's effing awesome.

It seems they've added unnecessary "swish" sound effects to the opener attached to the EE recorded teaser (which if you'll remember, was a common practice back in 2007 as well).

Yea I noticed that too.

After 2/17/09,  More free bandwidth from Analog channels = More room for NEW HD channels  :thrilled:

Just because there's more room doesn't mean Comcast will RUSH to add them. :whistling:

The cable headend has to make the request, otherwise no changes will take place.
Can the headend request what cities to use on the domestic IntelliStar as well (including radar/metro maps, etc)?

Yes. And, after they request a change on a STAR and "approve" it, the STAR Team can't make any further changes to their STAR without their permission.

Local Forecast / Re: General LF Discussion

Just saw an odd observation on my IntelliStar's CC screen: Light Freezing Rain and Fog.

It was using the Freezing Rain icon.

I saw that yesterday, as well as Snow & Fog too.

Either way, I'll see. Lot of hot girls in my school have blonde hair.

So you're trying to look like a hot girl? :bleh:

Again, all weather outlets fuc*ed up the forecast again. I figured this would happen. We'll be lucky to get 2" of snow out of this. :cry3:

Scratch that. We ended up with only about an inch, and then everything changed to freezing rain for about an hour, and now straight rain.

I think from now on - I'll just cut forecasts in half. So if 2-4" of snow is forecasted, I'll only expect to see 1-2," etc. :club:

This is an interesting forecast for tomorrow. I've never seen the bolded phrase in a local before.

Snow during the morning will become heavy at times during the afternoon. Snowfall rates of an inch or more per hour will greatly reduce visibilities. High 31F. Winds E at 5 to 10 mph. 5 to 8 inches of snow expected.

So the bold was actually on the local forecast page? Interesting. They must really want to stress the hazard; maybe many people have gotten into accidents, etc. due to low visibility.

Sounds like a harsh forecast for tomorrow, too. :brr:

No, it wasn't bolded on the local - I bolded it to call your attention to it. :)

They are both an incredible waste of time and money. :bleh:

Not if the Steelers are in it. :club:

Of course, they won't be.  :whistling:

Just as the Ravens. :whistling:
