TWC hasn't had a good, meaningful slogan since 1998. As much as I loved the Live By It era, I never understood what "Live By It" meant. Live by what? TWC?

Live By It was my favorite era as far as slogans go. But how don't you understand it? They were trying to say everyone lives by the weather, so everyone should live by TWC.

One of the things I liked the most about it was it's versatility. Depending on the season or outdoor activity they were talking about, they could alter the slogan. For example, in a golf spot, use "Golf By It," etc.

Im highly thinking about bring that 7 to 5. Im viewing some signatures maxed out to 7 that still look long and cluttered to me. Let me know what you think.

If members could understand the concept of a signature then we wouldn't need restrictions

I say go for 5.

Even stricter rules on signatures... I HATE sigs with huge images (or lots of text) in them (LDLs, etc). At least shrink them down.

That is something I really will crack down on. I will make a post about that soon

Thanks for the kind words, Gary.

As Gary did mention, I have expressed interest in taking over the site. Some of you know, I have wanted to create a present-day TWC site for years now (long before TWCT came around)... but never did because I honestly didn't want the hassle of starting a site from scratch. This site, however, has a good member base, and content already built into it, and I know that I could take over and do a decent job. I already co-admin at TWCC, and have co-admin'd at another forum, and have experience as a webmaster. So we'll see where this goes.

As for changes to the site: should I be granted the rights to this website, everything would remain unchanged at first, however, with all management hand-overs, some things would inevitably change with time. I may update some graphics, change the administration team, etc. But, nothing too drastic. Let's just cross that bridge when we come to it.

Another, unexpected article about be. The guys from the Valley called the school Friday afternoon and said "have that Tomasino boy down there at 1, we're interviewing him and taking pictures." They nominated me for their "Hometown Hero" for community service. Go me!

We have them around here. They're pretty good... unlimited fries with burgers.

I noticed my NWS office now shows the winds for all 7 days of the zone forecast product now instead of just the next 48 or so hours. Has anyone else's office started doing this?
