Speaking of the First Day Of Summer, when I first thought we here in Lansing would not hit 90 this year (let alone 100 which I so desperately want- Ana send it my way!  :bleh: ), here we go:

Huh.

Just got back from taking my dad out to breakfast. Sadly he had to work today. (I'm gonna  :club: his manager when I see him). I am going to do the barbeque-ing at swineflulandia...gonna go see my uncles and my grandfather over there as well.

Wow it's already the start of summer? It doesn't feel like much when the temps are in the 60s.

It does if you come to Duck Centro.
Wow, good luck! I am not sure what to give to my dad. Didn't buy anything..:(

Should I use Google to look up something I don't know about?

Alexandra and Heather? Wow, I don't recall seeing them paired up since 2003 during the mornings. I think they both go great together even though Alexandra seems more of an evening person to me.

Earlier this morning on XM Watercolors, I heard "Juicy" by Brian Simpson (2/09), "After the Storm" by Norman Brown(5-6/07) and "Stop Look Listen (To Your Heart)" by Boney James (1/09).

TWC must've discontinued the 1 min product playlists. The normal 2 min lfs on :08 and :38 and 1:30 flavours at :18 and :48 are back.

I recently had my video with "Miss Libby" by Michael Ripoll, and my most popular video (the XL emulator with the storm alert theme) disabled. :(
Yikes. Did it say who?
Yeah it did. Miss Libby was disabled by some record company I've never seen before (can't remember the title) and the XL video was disabled by NBC.
NBC? And they seriously had to disable an emulation?

I like it! It definitely gives him a lot of exposure.

We he could've disputed the claim. I wouldn't dispute it if there are just ads..only if the audio got disabled. Was the entire video itself disabled or just the audio?

Trance also posted a comment on my video with that song:
There are some really nice artists. I got a PM from Marcus Mitchell back in Sept  about his track Groove Lounge.

BTW, "Make it Work" by Jeanne Ricks is available on her Make It Work! CD on her website.

Martin, I really think you should put in a Youtube icon on the profile. If it is there, it will not be needed in signatures and could actually make them shorter.
Good idea.

General Discussion / Re: Gary Papa dies
« on: June 19, 2009, 03:41:44 PM »
Gary Papa, one of WPVI-TV's most respected anchors, died today after a long battle against prostate cancer. I just heard about this while flipping to the AccuWeather channel when I caught Jim Gardner trying to hold his tears as he made the reporting. He was 54 years old.

Wow...unbelievable. I've been watching him on Action News for years. It's sad to see him succumb to something like that. It's been quite a battle for him. May Gary rest in peace now. :(
