I owned a wii from Christmas 07 to the end of 2008. I never caught the gist of it, all I had was wii sports on it. I ended up giving it away to a family friend the following Christmas. I also owned a gamecube prior to that but i sold it back in 8th grade I think. Just had no time for video games back then :/

TWC is now on its 24th named storm, with only 2 remaining (Y and Z).  With us being well into spring, it's probably unlikely that they will run out, but who would have thought we would have had two named storms in April?!

I'm actually surprised that they didn't run out. Not because their parameters for a named storm are too generous, but because it's much easier to wind up with multiple winter storm systems at the same time than it is with hurricanes, which have a tendency to come one-at-a-time.
I wouldn't be surprised if they DID run out. The rockies still get winter storms during April and at times, early May. It's not uncommon to find snow in the mountainous areas of ID/MT/WY. While I hope it's not major enough to get named, if they do run out of names it makes me think if they have a backup list of names similar to how they use Greek names after running of Atlantic Hurricane names.

Local Forecast / Re: Songs you want to hear again on the LF
« on: April 13, 2013, 05:38:28 PM »
In reality, I would probably like to hear pretty much anything from the 2000-2009 lists.  No joke, it's gotten that bad.  :noexpression:  In addition to those I've already named, though, here are a few more that I liked hearing on the LFs:

6. Birks Law - Spyro Gyra
7. Guyute - Phish
8. The View From Here - Artie Traum
9. The Bridge - Brian Hughes
10. Pacific Coast Highway - Eddie Reasoner
i used 9 on my current april playlist.

I wanna hear Push to Start by Paul Taylor again..that song always puts me in a good mood

Nice pics. That's definitely a shelf cloud. The line also produced a nice shelf cloud here too. I didn't take any pictures, it was too dark. We had some wind gusts 40-60mph here, then came the rain and lightning. Nice little severe weather event. Bout to get ready for round 2 approaching from the west.
Thanks! Yeah, it's really chilly now. We went from 85 to 55 degrees in just a matter of a few hours. We had some very intense lightning strikes and heavy rain at times, that's what I love the best about spring and summer. Thunderstorms always put me in a good mood~ :D (NYC's first thunderstorm of the year too)

I took these photos of what looks like a shelf cloud approaching the New Brunswick NJ area. It was much darker outside compared to the color shown in the photos. Just minutes after we had some strong thunderstorms and rain from that cloud. The temp dipped from 84 degrees in the afternoon to just 60 now. What do u think?

Localonthe8s, is that a 30-second LF you've got there?  I certainly hope it's not coming to that, but we've gone from 2 minutes to 60 seconds, so this is the next likely step.
Yes, that's a new overnight flavor
