It occurred from April 25th- 28th with the overwhelming majoring of activity on the 27th. I remember that event like yesterday, CNN and TWC had me glued in with their coverage. Seeing that monstrous tornado tear right through downtown Tuscaloosa is an image I won't forget. I was watching the news stream from ABC 33/40 when James Spann was reporting.
What are the prospects of an event like this happening again within the next 10 years?

Getting hired and fired on the same day, not as uncommon as you think! I feel bad for the guy, he became way too nervous on his first day on the job as you could see and slipped the wrong words. While unprofessional, I think they should have not fired him and at least given him a warning. In ND, maybe they handle things differently but I don't see the big deal. Sue Simmons has cursed/gotten drunk on air more times than I can count in the US's largest TV market and yet she kept working before being let go last year. Opinions? WARNING: FOUL LANGUAGE IN THE BEGINNING

I personally am enjoying 2013, it's going along fairly well though I do miss February and March of last year when I went to Manganext and the Image Anime trips with the anime club (they cancelled both trips this year).This year has been very rough for me, and I really hope things will turn around later in 2013.Why, what's been happening?

OMG!!!
She was one of my favorite OCMs before she left in 2008, I used to remember seeing her and Carl Parker on Day Planner all the time. What a flashback!
I'm probably going to hell for saying this lol, but she looks quite gorgeous in that sexy dress. I never noticed this before when she left previously.

« on: April 18, 2013, 10:42:33 PM »I went ahead and started a new thread since the other one was mainly about her departure (and it's been nearly 2 years since it was active.)They are still in the same TV market.
I was always curious to know where she ended up since her departure from TWC, I did a quick search and I see she's now working as a meteorologist in the Miami, FL area. She's been on WPLG-TV since the Fall of 2011.

The only thing that would make this more ironic would be if she and Adam Berg were working together at the same station!(He's working at their competing NBC station)

Good to see her back working, she was one of my favorite OCMs always loved watching her on Day Planner. She and Kelly Cass were a great pair.
