Jazz hadn't been on TWC since December 2011, so a little over 4 years. I wouldn't think there were so many complaints for them to yank jazz after a day. I call the "test" B.S.They're testing the viewer response and ratings. Obviously for something that hadn't been played in five years they'd have to phase it in.. especially for a genre that has declined in popularity in recent years.Who runs the music there? Why take it off after one day? That makes me even more upset; they're toying with us.I don't get it either. They say it was a test. What needed to be tested? Either you play it or you don't.
Per a comment on that YouTube video I posted, someone got a reply from Dave Clark via Twitter saying that the Smooth Jazz thing was just a test, but expect a full rollout soon. Still, it kinda seems like a kick in the pants that our adrenaline was pumped up for nothing.I remember someone tweeted to him a few months and his response was "And if I don't hold back the smooth jazz..
" Just that was a hint that he was planning to return it.The first song is "Simple Pleasure" by Jeanne Ricks. Not sure of the second one.restless heart by Chris geith
I have WN on my Roku. I also cut my cable since it's too expensive for a bunch of stuff I hardly ever watch.Ditto, I cut my DISH service last spring and have no plans to ever resubscribe. There's nothing good on TV these days anyways.
