Aaron, if you don't mind me asking why do you attach screenshots in every post?

When it sleeted here, I wish I could have gone over to my friend Jeanne's house to get an IS clip. Oh well.Since when did Jeanne Ricks live in Tampa?
It really doesn't matter and I concur with Zach. My LF *still* shows the blizzard icon and the heavy snow forecasted. I would record an IS clip but I don't have the time or patience to go to Yvonne's and cablejack her boxI don't mean to bust in, but didn't you use to complain about how much you hated the IntelliSTAR and how stupid the narration was?I meant LFs with narration... plus the bulletins page doesn't show up on the DirecTV LF. Not that big of a deal, but I would like to see some more clips of this area.I know we're still on the subject of games here, but there have not been a lot of local forecast videos uploaded of the big storm. As much as I want to throw up right now, this is somewhat exciting to watch. Can you get some more videos up Billy and Mike?Umm I uploaded 2 clips last night...

It's not even snowing and there's some sun showing up
I love SimCity!! I had that on an old computer but it's gone now. I've played Rollercoaster Tycoon as well and I like that game too.I loved all of the Sim games and Roller Coaster Tycoon games. I was addicted to SimCity 2000 back in the day, and I'll still occasionally play it.Wow okay, I didn't think about that. I'll give that a shot.
I have SimCity 2000 (with Urban Renewal Kit), SimTower, SimIsle, SimCopter, Streets of SimCity, SimFarm, SimCity 3000, Rollercoaster Tycoon (with Corkscrew Follies and Loopy Landscapes), and Rollercoaster Tycoon 2.
If I know anything about the old Maxis games, Aaron, they use 16-bit installers, so they won't be able to run on Windows x64. You might be able to try to install the game on a 32-bit system, like you've already done, and copy the program files over to the 64-bit system. If that doesn't work, you can play the games in a Virtual Machine, like I do.
I remember SimCity 2000, and for some reason, it was too depressing for me to play.
While still on the subject of games, anyone heard of SimCity 4? I love that game, but haven't played that in a while now either.

i do too aaronAny ideas on when the January playlist will come to a close, or will the current one continue all the way through February?Judging how long the November list lasted, I for sure expect this playlist to go through at least the end of February... and I would not one bit be surprised if this list goes a week or two into March. I miss the old daze when we actually had monthly playlists
It's too bad you don't have a local STAR to get clips of during that event... I know I would go crazy if it were to happen here. I still haven't had a Tornado Warning since I got my tuner back in September 2008.I wish I could record blizzard warning clips on my Intellistar..but it sucks that the DTV LF doesn't support winter weather alert bulletins.

THANK YOU very much Sean! This is exactly what I was thinking this past week. It's great to see them bringing back smooth jazz on the list even though it's only for daytime but the songs they play all sound the same and are indeed not interesting. I missed nearly 2 weeks of hearing this list, and after hearing the list for a week, I quickly grew tired of it. Stone Groove and Breezin need to go. Lily Was Here by Candy Dulfer is a great song but they should stick to more indie and unavailable jazz not mainstream radio jazz songs. Also it seems that they have a shortage of smooth jazz CD's coming in. I recently complained about this to TWC and offered to send in CDs (with BMI artists) that I have on my own but much to my knowledge only the artists can send it due to licensing/acquisition issues. Also TWC is playing less rock. And to think TWC is leaning towards more rock now.
Also, another problem with the recent music on TWC is that with the "smooth jazz" that is still playing, only past radio hits are being used, such as Breezin' by George Benson. These kinds of songs are what sometimes gives "smooth jazz" its bad reputation as "elevator" music. I think it would make more sense for TWC to dig deeper into the smooth jazz world and focus on playing artists they have used in the past, such as Pat Metheny, Spyro Gyra, Rippingtons, etc. With the boring and forgettable kind of smooth jazz TWC is currently playing, they will only continue to drive the genre deeper into the ground. Unfortunately, most people do not realize that contemporary jazz can be a very exciting genre if the right songs are chosen.
But yeah...it would've been at least nice if they can bring back jazz on the daytime and overnight portions ( I mean seriously, who wants to listen to rock/pop in the overnight hours when you have many good "overnight-sounding" smooth jazz songs available). That way there would be an even mix. I really miss the old artists TWC used like Patrick Yandall, Doug Markley, Chris Ball, Miles Stiebel, Kyle Wolverton, etc..but they're not probably playing their music because as I said earlier, TWC will only stick to indie jazz on the daytime list and use previously used/mainstream jazz songs on the other dayparts. Those artists I mentioned above have great music that would've made it to other dayparts.
