Gotta have a Wawa :P
Nono, it's "gotta hava wawa" :bleh:
You're both wrong. I can tell you don't have Wawa stores... The official slogan, since 2005, is gottahava Wawa. The phrase is all one word.
Jesse is right. PA/NJ is Wawa territory right there. I go there every week :D

Here's an idea I have already brought up:
Can someone make it so that I can post when pressing the alt and s keys using Google Chrome? It makes posting so much faster (not to mention I'm used to posting with the shortcut).
Aaron, it's a SMF forum issue and not something that can be fixed by us.  If we get a future forum upgrade, we'll see if that fixes it.
Yeah it also happens to me on Firefox. :( I hope a future upgrade will fix that.

And when you get a PM, the [1] message doesn't appear very well. Is it possible to get the PM Warning box enabled?

This is a 1 minute clip of "Lovestar" by Buzz Amato from this site, but the first few seconds is a completely different song. Anyone know the name of it, it kinda sounds like Boney James, but I don't think it's him.

I'd say that sounds a lot like Dave Koz...

Anyways, I need an ID to this number, please :)

"Lights Out San Francisco" by Craig Chaquico.
I love that song! It totally makes me emotional though cuz it reminds me of all that happened to me that year :/

Is that the song I posted a video of or the clip that Tavores posted?
The one you posted

That also played in December 08's "best of" list. That song too makes me emotional. A couple other songs from 2008 made me cry including Winter by Ryan Farish, Roxanne's Dance by Gerald Veasley, no Ordinary love by Danny Lerman, Stone Groove and So Many NIghts by Chris Geith. The only song that cheered me up was Smoothy McGroovy by Joe loskota

Lovestar was never used on TWC. Not sure how that ended up on the site

:jerry:

Seriously, though, 5 admins? That's like having 8 bosses! :P
LOL I agree. It's amazing how a number can actually play a role on things. And it's also amazing how downhill the members here are going too. I can't remember the last time I've been irritated like that

I know that's why I'm not bashing anyone for no reason. I also agree it's cruel but if you look at the stats, does it really make sense to keep an admin who hasn't been online for months when you have regular members/staff who visit here at least a couple times a week?

I say because most of the admins have other things to worry about (school/work/family) rather than checking up on the forums.

Absolutely which is why they wont have much time visiting the forums. How can that be a 'cruel' reason to step down someone then?

This is interesting but Patrick certainly deserves the administrator position since he's always done a good job on keeping an eye on things in the forums and focusing on any attention. But IMO, I think there are too many admins in the forum now. One or two of the exisiting admins should be stepped down considering they either don't do much or they're inactive. Of course, when they became more active you can bump up their position again but I'm sure many others agree with me here..With decreasing activity here 6 admins is overkill.

Yeah, I also have to agree with Molly. Three admins (even four) are fine. But having six admins is a little extensive, IMO. :hmm: I still think Patrick should stay as an admin, but as Molly said, maybe some of the inactive ones should be moved down in status...just a thought. :)
There are 5 not 6

Way to quickly remove Brian's admin status to prove me wrong. :P Maybe five is OK...I'll get over it. :)
4 is fine with me. I'd say either Kyle or Stephen get downgraded since Kyle hardly ever visits here and Stephen really doesn't do much unless there are forum errors
Stephen does behind the scenes website/forums stuff. By you saying "Kyle hardly ever visits here" is saying "Gary hardly ever visits here," which is true... I doubt they're going to demote Administrators like that. 5 is just a number. Why can't you just get over it and accept it? Why have you and some other users become such assholes lately? Sorry that I have to be blunt like that, but it's the truth.
Uh why are you blaming me? yes it is a number and fine I'll get over it but in the long term you'll regret not heeding my advice

General Discussion / Re: Your class schedule...
« on: February 13, 2010, 11:58:55 AM »
Yeah, NJ is only getting worse. Beginning next year, the English HSPA prep courses will no longer count as an English course but instead an elective. So if you struggle with that stuff, you'll have to take BOTH a HSPA English and regular English course (fortunately I don't have to take the HSPA so I don't have to worry about it). As well, they did away with Pre-Algebra and require passing of Algebra 1 before graduation. The list goes on and on...
Oh wow it makes sense now. And the HSPA is one of the hardest tests in teh nation according to many teachers who said it.

So these are the classes I'm considering next year:

All classes level 3 (modified academic) unless otherwise noted

Geometry
Physics
Communication Tech
Home Improvement/Car Care
Cooperative work education
Individual studies (level 5)

Right now it's planned that I leave two periods early (at 12:52 PM) if I can get a job by next year.
Life in NJ sounds pretty easy when it comes to academics. Here in Michigan, no student is allowed to have any hours without anything scheduled, and of course, the state tightened academic requirements starting at the class of 2011 (my class)
Not really. NJ has very tough academic standards when it comes to grading and standardized testing. What are the new academic requirements for NJ?

I'm not tired of the snow, and there isn't more on the way.
I also don't hate the snow
