My electricity went out for over an hour this morning because of this. Certainly wasn't expecting thunderstorms since I thought the temps were too cold outside.I was woken up earlier this morning by a HUGE thunderstorm. Definitely the first thunderstorm of the year to me. I think some of the lightning bolts struck nearby because they were much louder than usual and the winds were very strong too.
You'll know it's nearby when the lightning makes a cracking noise before thunder (instead of just thunder), AND when you want to hide when you hear the cracking noise, AND your router dies.Been there, done that.
