General Discussion / Re: The Front Porch

Martin-- why were you sleeping on the floor this morning?  Did you have a little too much fun at prom? :P
Lol No comment! :P
hehehe :D

When I get out of high school next year in 2011, I know it will be sad for me. I rely on my friends to keep myself happy, and not being with them as much would make me feel depressed. Heck, I can barely survive even a weekend without them since I get so lonely easily, and I never have the confidence to ask if they wanna hang out with me. :(
Same here exactly..

But that's expected when owning a cat. You have to face it with the scratching issues and understand that cats do it naturally. I had a cat before she died last year and even though Princess scratched my family room sofa beyond recognition, we let her do so because using scratching posts and training don't help.

General Discussion / Re: Google: NO Kids Allowed
« on: May 24, 2010, 03:27:45 PM »
Just like no one below the age of 13 is allowed on Facebook...but I have many friends on there that are under that limit. As others have said, it's only enforced if it's legally forced.
Back in the day... When Myspace became popular there was an age limit of 18 so most of my friends and myself signed up as 18. No age limit is going to significantly impact a younger groups participation of something online if they are determined and its not enforced
Problem is, it's all too easy to lie your age. People will lie their age, if they use common sense. It's not like Google will scan the users' faces and tell what their actual ages are

I can never use the computer before school imp

This is stupid. TWC really needed this as a lesson and instead they're getting the exact opposite. I had a feeling WeatherCast was gonna be gone :(

Here's my playlist that I spent an eternity working on. I had to spend extra time to make sure these artists were on BMI and/or the sites to find instrumental rock bands.

That ratings would've been great without all this junk, but I understand their motive of $$

And this article further proves about the popularity of The Weather "Entertainment" Channel. I hung out with a friend yesterday and he told me that he liked the movies TWC showed and Storm Stories on Saturday evenings. Not a good sign <_<

This is off topic, but what's been with all the IS outages recently? :dunno: And could the Satellite ISs be effected?

i was just going to ask the same question because alot of people are posting about this on TWC's Facebook page.

http://www.facebook.com/theweatherchannel

yea i was figuring out why there is a nationwide STAR outage. Star 21897 is out as well

Well it should've been more specific...as the majority thought it was the hardware
What do you mean specific? There was never even a rumor of new hardware so that is news to me. However like I said, the current hardware version of the Intellistar now, probably has seen the last of its significant updates
The reason I was saying was because the other updates liek the LDL and icons happened in short timing of the previous updates. I figured the Intellistar would've gotten one too. It seems that the IS could use another graphics overhaul anyways but that may just be me
