Hello to all! Obviously I'm new to this forum... anyway I just heard news of the new IntelliStar 2! I am a huge fan of the IntelliStar and now I hear that its in my area. However I'm out of town now (typical) so I cant upload it to my youtube (ajatwister) page. So I will be returning next weekend, so hopefully since I have Comcast and live several miles south of Nashville, I will be able to post it then, but for now I just cant wait!So glad you're able to make it to the forums AJ! Love your YT posts
Ugh, college...don't remind about it.It's hard to believe it's already Mid-July. Pretty soon, school will be around the corner. This summer has been flying by.Wait until you get older as it'll seem to go even faster.
exactly...i go back to ASU in less than a month
I have yet to visit college campuses. This year will be a busy one as I start to visit some colleges in mind and see what the campuses have to offer. I have been thinking of Penn State or Rutgers for meteorology but I'm taking extra math classes (Precalculus and trigonometry) this year to cover that.
I recorded that AccuWeather channel from 4:30-6 this morning. I'll try to get clips of later. I wish I got the actual channel, but I can only see it during overnights when WFMZ simulcasts it.6? I thought they play it from 1:30 to 5am and yes I can only see it on overnights too.
The second tune is "Café Carnival" by Craig Chaquico, used in 2000. Another midway through the clip is "Sooner or Later" by The Roberts Bros., but it wasn't used on TWC.Thank you, Layne
And, by the way, this six minute clip of weather and music is far more entertaining and useful than anything on TWC these days.
I concur, as I've stopped watching TWC and instead turned onto Channel 69 to hear these classics instead. I will post more as time allows.
Sadly, I don't think that would be enough for TWC to rehire him. It's the amount of wages that matter hereDave Schwartz was just as popular as Dr. Lyons IMO. He didn't have his own promos, but he was a great OCM and TWC just didn't have the money to keep him.I know, just look at all the groups, petitions, and websites that have been created for him. And TWC hasn't listened one bit. Dave would be a perfect companion with Ray, Alex, or Danielle on SW/WV.
yes that's what I meant, I thought the sidebar was called the LDA.I love the LDL, damn impressive. What is with the LDA being stuck on Omaha though? Will the LDA be removed? What do you mean? If you haven't seen the new HD LDL everything with the sidebar is going away. The images above are just to give you an idea
Yeah they were when they beta tested the current SD Intellistar version back in 2007. tpirfan28's area was one of the headends to receive the upgradeArgh....not Memphis....I am not sure what gave you that idea. Select markets were picked and the community here will be monitored for feedback. They aren't placing the beta sites based on our location
I thought it would have been placed in locations that have TWC Fans, so we could give them feedback and stuff.
they have before, IIRC.
Keep up the good work! I will try to make some recreations in PowerPoint later on when I have the motivation to.I have to say for a power point project, that's quite an impressive recreationWell, I have had to do a lot of school work with PowerPoint , so now I've gotten a pretty good understanding of the program. To make them I use a lot of gradient fills and try to make them as accurate as possible.
