I don't even bother with primetime anymore.  Until TWC realizes that this rock/pop/soundtrack gimmick is a complete farce, they will continue to recycle these songs. But TWC is so stubborn and arrogant in this regard (and other areas too). They just plain refuse to play jazz in the primetime, and they will play overplayed, overused songs continually, to try to justify their decision. They really think football music, rock n' roll, and soundtracks will attract viewers? Please.
Unfortunately, nothing will change. TWC will continue with this same playlist format, and this same pattern with the music that they're going with. So, we're going to continue to see random playlists, morning and primetime dayparts filled with repeats, and the lack of jazz. :(

OCMs & Personalities / Re: New OCM - Crystal Egger
« on: September 29, 2010, 10:30:05 PM »
ok guys, don't be bashing on me (I've only seen Crystal a few days before) but she has GOT to be the hottest OCM I have seen on air!! I swear, I cannot get my eyes off the TV screen every time I watch her. Not sure whose idea it was to hire Crystal, but it was a wise one. I can only wonder what the male audience is thinking :bleh:

Primetime is terrible as usual (too many repeats). Morning is actually pretty good though. So far this playlist receives an Okay to me, hopefully overnight is better.

if anyone gets confused about a song there is a playlist clips thread (like august) so you can recall what you heard.
I have also posted HD Clips of the playlist on my channel. Check here : youtube.com/user/localonthe8s

I usually stick to filming in the department stores, subway stations and parking garages
You did?  i dont see clips from you of elevators
THat's becuase I recorded them on my old Sony Handycam (the one where I recorded tuner-style TWC clips in 2007) but the USB doesn't work.
USB? The handycam is a DV camera and does not have USB transfer but uses firewire
idk what that is, but I'll see if I can get these clips on my computer somehow..

Those who are into filming elevators, do NOT think about recording them at a shopping mall.... as I got out of the mall today a security guard stopped and asked me to remove all the videos I took of their elevators (since the malls are obscured with security cameras). <_<
If its a Simon mall they will crack down. I assume you went to King of Prussia Mall btw
Geez Mike, not one but two guards kicked out of the mall because of this? You should've filmed the elevators at the department stores, not the mall elevators as a rule of thumb. I usually stick to filming in the department stores, subway stations and parking garages
