Martin - there is plenty of evidence. Just google or search the forums yourself.

It's great that he left TWC but the changes will still b there. Rock Music, layoffs, longform which were all introduced by Darby won't get the boot .. Since management is satisfied with the direction TWC is taking.

Hopefully all the miners left unaccounted for are still alive.

Ugh... both my CBS and CW O&O affiliates, both of which were hosted from the same dedicated website for years, decided to ditch their dedicated websites and go with a wordpress.com blog. Ugh. I mean, can't you get more original than that? I mean, a blog? I enjoyed their old site. Now? I'm not so sure. [/rant]

I am enjoying cashiering at The Home Depot though! Today will be my second day.

Looking good! B) Cashiering is fun as long as you don't have to deal with unruly customers. *cough Black Friday and Christmas*

I still have my GBA SP from 2005...works pretty good. I had a PS2 and a GameCube but sold them long ago so I'm console-less at the moment. (please don't hurt me :P )

This may seem like a dumb question, but does anyone know if Jim Cantore and Alexandra Steele are (or once was) in a relationship?:

Oh my goodness, I've seen the video so many times already but still couldn't stop laughing when I saw that segment live! Classy Steele <33

Was Alexandra let go because they decided to not renew her contract or was it because they simple "didn't want" her anymore?

I am finally back on the forums for a while after a month long hiatus. Studying for 5 tests in one day is not fun imp :(
Welcome back! Took 3 tests today and a fourth Friday imp
Thanks! Things continue to get more busy as I prep for some more standardized tests, make up work, and the daunting process of college apps/essays imp. <_<

Wow todays PSAT test had a reference to Thelonious Monk which is playing on the overnight slot and daytime slot (2 different cuts)
Ironically enough, there was a reference on last month's ACT too about Stanley Clarke (another TWC artist). If only tests were to cater TWC fans more often like that :P

They should just be glad they're getting out alive!
They need to be very thankful.  Not too long ago on April 6 of this year, 25 miners in WV didn't come out alive during a mine explosion.  It should really tell you all how dangerous mining can be, but it's a way of life for some people.
A similiar event in WV also happened in January of 2006 when 12 out of 13 miners died in a mine explosion. The lone survivor happened to be the youngest miner too. Maybe age played a role for the survival of the Chilean miners too?
