I had a B in ALgebra.I find Algebra important, you need to find rates, formulas, percentages, etc but Geometry and Trigonometry= pointless.I agree with that. Geometry and Trig are only important if your career depends on it. Other than that, you don't need it in your every day life. As for algebra, we use it almost every day without realizing. You'd be surprised how much algebra I use to create my emulations.

I realize that but if it's so important then why do standardized tests have so little questions on Math? It's mainly reading and language arts, and Math is only in 2 out of 6 parts of the test. Plus in my school, it's an elective in your senior year.

Same here. I am very intelligent in atmospheric science, astronomy and history. I'm very good in spelling and have great geography skills. Why woulld I need to have an A in math if I am good in those subjects, that I am interested in for life?
