General Discussion / The Weather Network
« on: May 15, 2008, 05:36:03 PM »
So does anyone like TWC's sister station TWN (the weather network) in canada?

I like it 'cuz there's less commercials than TWC but I don't like because they play the same song for the entire year. My favorite was the 2005 theme. I wish I can get w/o narration.

I also like the weather forecasts. They seem to have very less series programming unlike TWC and everytime i tune in to that channel I see they're always doing up-to-date weather coverage   :twothumbs:

« on: May 03, 2008, 05:07:43 PM »
i don't have a clip of it so i'll describe my best.

It had an arabian background to it. There was a flute played as a main instrument and some guitar. The flute was played Arabian style. Can someone help me?

It played either in early 2001 or in 2000.

Local Forecast / Weather Channel Presents: Best of Smooth Jazz II
« on: April 28, 2008, 04:33:31 PM »
There will be a second Weather Channel CD out to be released on Jun 10. There is no artwork or track listing yet but it's interesting TWC will be releasing another album this soon. I'll contain jazz and some rock. If the song selection is good, I might buy it.

Everything Else TWC / Frequent Commercials
« on: April 27, 2008, 09:19:44 PM »
Don't you guys think TWC could cut down the number of commericals they show? I understand the reason is for money and profits but they need to think about the viewers too. Back in the day they wouldn't have that many commercials now they have commercials 6-7 times an hour!

Does anyone else think the frequent commercials on TWC are annoying?
