You're welcome, if needed use VMware. VMware ALWAYS works, in addition to REAL hardware.

P.S. What edition of XP are you using? I use PRO for this, and it works, might be the edition.

Funny enough, i am making this message on Virtualbox before i move to VMware! thanks for the help!

You basically have to be a computer expert to even make any sense of it. Very few people who obtained one have the resources to make it work. I have one myself, and I appreciate having the unit, but I haven't been able to do anything with it. I'm holding onto it, however.

I'm collaborating now with Charter in my area to revive an XL, I know what to do. PM me for details

Yes, cable TV is going downhill, in 2013 Comcast removed Weatherscan from all packages in the city  and got the IS2XD on day of launch  . Also, sooner or later KRDO will be pulled off the air due to contract issues in my area, and I might loose our iGuide box to the Xfinity X1 boxes that Comcast is forcing down our throats.

Well, yesterday I watched TWC (it was during something not longform, can't remember the name  ) and the STAR reset itself, so it came back on during LOT8s, then went off after, no LDL, just LOT8s, then no LOT8s, then it went back to norm. This STAR has been doing this since New Year's day at 10:00 AM MST. I can't figure out what is going on, and any possible answers are helpful   .
