Shamrock Lakes, Indiana is a Suburb of Hartford City, Indiana and I just moved here 2 weeks ago to find out that Weatherscan is not offered here  :cry3: I was so happy to get Weatherscan today, but I found out that they don't offer it in Shamrock Lakes  :cry3: I have the Xfinity X1 Entertainment Operating System for my TV

Comcast is phasing out Weatherscan, I lost mine in 2013. I've heard from someone at my local Comcast headend that they will try to get rid of it by 2020.

Mine has been doing that all the time since Cox switched to Digital.
mine never saw analog

Help and Support / Re: RUNTIME ERROR
« on: May 30, 2016, 09:21:43 AM »
After setting everything up in CINE, it loads fine, but after that I get this error with music still going:

If you can't see the image, the error reads:

Run-time error '-2147220850 (8004028e)':

FILE OPEN ERROR
I'm also having this issue, what fixed it?
Same here. I'd like to know how to fix this error. I'm trying to set it up on a new computer and this exact message pops up.

Use Windows XP, vista, or 7. those are the only functioning versions of Windows

I'd love to use the emulator, but I am getting this error as well. Is there any fix?

Use Windows XP, Vista, or 7 with nothing but local forecast.

I don't even know what that icon is supposed to resemble.. a bar graph?
It resembles a factory, or other industrial building, with smog above it

No, it worked on Windows Vista. That was my old computer.
I can finally upgrade!

WeatherSTAR Tech Support / Re: Intellistar 2 concerns
« on: May 21, 2016, 04:26:23 PM »
This topic was approved by phw115wvwx.

Comcast affiliates throughout Philadelphia have recently acquired the Intellistar2 HD, and I was wondering. Has our headend expanded or something because I'm getting cities from Burlington, Camden, and Gloucester counties now. If this is the case I'm okay with having the STAR centered on Camden County, however the current choice of Aududon is a very small borough that most people this far north don't really know about. Can Cherry Hill be used instead? This is a much larger and familiar township to almost everyone in South Jersey right next to Audubon that has a lot of attractions, while at the same time also is pretty much dead on center of the new viewing area. Also, why isn't Philadelphia included at all on any of the radars? If this can be changed too that would be great.

Thanks,
Mike
I concur with this suggestion. I am located near Cherry Hill and I haven't the slightest where Audubon, NJ is. I understand it's the headend location, however, as Mike put it, it's a very small borough.

Really? How do you not know where Audobon is? It is SO close to Philidelphia!

General Discussion / Re: Something you love, and loathe about TWC
« on: May 19, 2016, 05:53:26 PM »
Something I love: the IntelliStar 2 Jr. it is the closest to the original IS we have
Something I hate: The IntelliStar 2 XD, it makes SD HD, defeats the purpose of a CRT.

It's official. Time Warner Cable is now Charter Communications.

http://www.ny1.com/nyc/all-boroughs/news/2016/05/18/it-s-official--time-warner-cable-is-now-charter.html

Will you need to change the cable provider identifier from Time Warner to Charter?
