There are 4 jazz songs on primetime - RPM, See What I'm sayin, say to me and Rattle and Burn. I think that's a first !

First time since April/May 2009!  :o

Was that Brian Hughes at :28? If so, it's the first time since 09 he's been played.

Really not happy how the Little Woman Soundtrack song is being overplayed this evening

Me too, I am getting tired of hearing it!  :hammer:

RPM by Boney James at :58  (from 9/08)

Wow! It is about time they played upbeat Boney James songs like that.  It was getting boring with all these slow, sleepy Boney James songs.  ;)

Layla at :58.

This has been used every odd summer year it seems: 2001, 2003, 2005, 2007, 2009, and 2011.
It was used last year too.

Oops, I forgot.  :blushing: But it is a summer primetime tradition anyway. Wouldn't be surprised if Terminal Frost and Can't You Hear Me Knocking appear, too.

Everything Else TWC / Re: General TWC Discussion
« on: July 05, 2011, 07:16:59 PM »
It's been about 3 1/2 years now. Isn't that about long enough to get used to NBC being permanently apart of TWC right now and move on and get over it? It's not fair that NBC has sensationalized TWC as an entertainment network and as a whole isn't what it used to be, but life isn't fair. At this point you shouldn't even care anymore.

I agree. My biggest beef with TWC is the whole "Primed for Excitement" schedule. It was comforting that every weeknight, you could turn at any given moment to extended hours of Weather Center, and see full LFs, not the 1:00 LFs. Now, you have to wait until Sunday night for that. During the week, there is absolutely no weather coverage (even when there is severe weather) in primetime, except for 7 and 10pm.

I am not in complete shock and disbelief that Casey Anthony was acquitted.

This is the longest playlist we've had since the Oct/Nov playlist, which lasted from the end of September all the way to early December, if you excuse that week in November when the Aug/Sept playlist returned.

I guarantee it'll be sometime before the 10th, and I don't even have inside information.  :P

It's playing right now..maybe you should watch twc more often :P
Matthew is right that it only plays on 2:00's.. so it rarely plays

I watch TWC almost everyday and it still rarely plays.. It like nuGroove if you remember that ones playing streak

Yeah, I remember nuGroove. That was arguably the best song on that daytime list, and I only heard it maybe 7 times total. I have probably heard Grazin' In The Grass about the same amount of times over the past two months.
