Yeah, that appears to be on the horizon.

When Jesse cooks, do the pots rattle and burn?

I've watched TWC since pretty much it's inception. I don't mind some of the news segments in the middle of a program, but it no longer interests me to watch regularly because they DO NOT cover weather anymore.
I live in Alabama near the tornado ravaged area and we have very severe storms ALOT. They don't even mention it most of the time and when they do, it's so hurried it's unwatchable. It seems like they're going for the glamour girl look and not the weather reporting that put them on the map.
They let the very good meteorologists go in favor of the babe types and I don't like it, so I don't watch. JMHO

I'll agree. Another thing is the '60 Second Forecast'. While it's a good idea, I feel like my forecast is rushed....normally they say nothing about Memphis or they say something like "Memphis coming in at 100", before they have to hurry on to the next city.

Oh, and another thing. During the LWU, they always say "Well, while you're watching Twist of Fate, we're watching a Tornado Warning!"....like it's nothing.

It's obvious that from Monday through Saturday, forget about any type of actual weather coverage past 5pm, besides two dinky hours of Weather Center two hours apart from one another. TWC has sent a message to all of us that they are a weather-related reality/news/entertainment channel now, and don't rely on them for severe weather or weather coverage in general anymore. TWC hopped on the reality/entertainment bandwagon like how MTV, TLC, VH1, A&E, Discovery, etc. hopped on it. Even when there are tornado warnings, they won't cover it during the week. They'd rather show a played-out episode of Storm Stories, Twist of Fate or Peter Lik, rather than break into programming. I haven't seen a preemption in close to a month now, and I don't look for or expect that to change any time soon. I would ignore TWC's primetime until Sunday night, which is the only night you can get real weather coverage throughout the night.

It is? It doesn't sound like one at all, or maybe I just really don't know my holiday music...lol. I actually thought it was one of the only songs that wasn't Christmas-ish on the list. Nevertheless, I like it anyway, ha ha.
I like it too, and it doesn't sound like a Christmas song to me either.

It was actually on Dave Koz's A Smooth Jazz Christmas CD.

Best:
Morning: Cafe Carnival, both Paul Taylor songs
Daytime: See What I'm Sayin', RPM, Sidesteppin', One More Time, Tribal Runner, Afterglow
Primetime: Supernova, RPM, See What I'm Sayin'
Overnight: Echoes, Over and Over, My Last One, In the House

Worst:
Morning: Here She Comes (not that great to play in two dayparts  :itsok:)
Daytime: Chasing the Wind (all Matthew Schuman songs sound out of place on daytime :dunno:)
Primetime: Under the Umbrella (don't like orchestral theme music on TWC), No More Sages (Maserati is not my style)
Overnight: None

I heard Let the Music Play by Barry White on Music Choice R&B Classics today.

The Flick and a Forecast situation happened again this week when TWC went to longform during the Phoenix dust storm, except now we can call it "Lik and a Forecast."

TWC doesn't even bother to preempt anymore. It has been like two weeks since I actually saw them interrupt their programming.  <_<

Awesome playlist, best since April/May 2009!

Yeah, a lot more smooth jazz this time, especially in primetime. Some good classics were brought back from 08 and beyond.

What is the name of that song with the saxophone and bass at :48? Sounds like Wayman Tisdale.

Side Steppin by Stanley Turrentine played at 4:58 this morning

One of my favorites from the May 2008 list.

Yeah, me too! It is nice that TWC has brought back a lot of classics, not just the same old repeats from 2009 and 2010.
