It sounded like Steve Oliver.

Pretty sure it's Shawn Brock. I found the song on Verizon's VCast Music Catalog.

I know. I was just saying when I first heard the song, it sounded like a song Steve Oliver would do.

Hopefully whenever the next playlist starts, TWC will continue this trend of jazzy primetimes, as it has since Irene. Horizon and She Loves the Water sound good in primetime.

I wonder how many members are really anticipating a new playlist 

I am.  I am starting to wonder if the playlist won't start till the middle of the month. This was a good playlist, but it is time for a new one.  It has been on since July 5, and the longer it is on, the less likable the playlist becomes.

The Tampa Bay area has really been making terrible decisions with its radio stations.  First, its smooth jazz station (WSJT) turned into some pop station last year, and now, WTMP, which as been an adult urban comptemporary with a legacy for 57 years in the community suddenly is now off and turned into a Spanish station.

It normally doesn't start this late in the week. It'll probably be some time after Labor Day, either Tuesday or Wednesday. Hopefully, it'll be before the 10th.

Even though it appears to be a rotation issue, the daytime and morning jazz mixed into the primetime has given the playlist a nostalgic feel, like how TWC used to be, at least until the end of May 2009.
