General Discussion / Re: Rihanna, voted most sexiest woman alive
« on: October 13, 2011, 11:24:52 PM »
What is the point of this thread?
That Rihanna is certainly not the sexiest woman alive :P
Yeah, I'll go with that :P
I do think she has a striking beauty about her. I like her face, eyes and lips, and she has a nice figure. I liked her best with the short hair. Put it this way, there are a lot of other women called the "sexiest woman alive" that don't deserve that title.

Rihanna is not really "the sexiest woman alive", but she definitely can be sexy, IMO.  She just needs to cut some of the sluttiness out.

While I like Chris abd Crystal, I'd rather see Kelly and Paul.
Yeah, I agree. BTW, what happened to Sam?  :dunno:

Local Forecast / Re: September/October 2011 Playlist
« on: October 11, 2011, 11:53:23 AM »
I couldn't sleep as I've been thinking about a lot of things, so I listened to this entire playlist and ranked my top ten songs from it:

  • Whisper to Me - 7and5
  • Aperture - Ryan Farish
  • Breath In - 7and5
  • Villa by the Sea - Russ Freeman
  • I'm Waiting for You - Jackiem Joyner
  • Exotica - Paul Taylor
  • Down by the Ocean - Chris Geith
  • Never Look Back - 7and5
  • Distanza - Greg Minnick
  • Who Now Do You Love - Shaun Brock

Once again, I feel like my view of music is so different compared to everyone else.  I couldn't find a single song that I liked on the primetime and overnight lists, yet you all could.  Furthermore, I think this playlist is worse overall than the last one, but you all think the opposite.  In some ways, the beginning of my #1 song really describes how I feel about this matter and my life sometimes.  Am I really that weird when it comes to musical tastes?

Nah, it's no big deal. Everyone has different musical tastes.  :P  Here is my revised favorites and worsts list:

Where is it?

Morning
Best: Both 7and5 songs, Castor, Campus Chic, Looking Back
Worst: None

Afternoon
Best: Whisper to Me, S7ven Large, J Street, Exotica, Now Who Do You Love, Distanza
Worst: Frosty Sunshine (too slow for daytime), Villa in the Sea (boring )

Primetime
Best: Metameme remix, Attack Engine, Let the Music Play, What I Got, February (Mid-Winter Night Mix)
Worst: Classic Battle (nuff said), Kiss of Life, Chillbillie (ugh  <_<)
Overnight
Best: Will You Be There, Wow Wow Wow, Sunset Motel
Worst: None

Local Forecast / Re: General LF Discussion

Um, it was said previously that the squeezeback is having some changes made to it and will resume when they're worked out. Don't know what they are, don't know why, just that it will be back.

Oh that's right...duh. :wall: For some reason it just seems like such a long time ago when Tyler made this post below (in the General TWC Discussion thread). And I think I misread a post above to where I thought the L-Bar was brought back after the "changes" but then discontinued again.

The locals will be temporarily coming back during all live programming until they can fix a few things and send out an update. Then the squeezeback will return for :08/:18/:38/:48, and the locals will only play at :28/:58.

So, for those confused (including myself :P), the L-Bar is still temporarily disabled to "fix a few things." Like Vic, I was skeptical about the full screen locals as well.

Well, we just gotta enjoy it while it lasts, I guess... :hmm:

So...did twc say fackin bye, bye to the l-bar localonthe8s?
I don't know.  :dunno: They have been using the normal LFs for about two weeks now. As i said before, maybe they saw the negative public reaction and reconsidered, much like they did when they were supposed to drop jazz back in 09.

Yeah, I heard it briefly before it transitioned back to normal music.
