Even though this is an Intellistar error, it is nice to hear these classics play again.
It's like some sort of a best of November and December list too, because several songs played in those months in prior playlists. For instance, The Wave played Nov 07, Dec 08, and Dec 10, Push and Lily Was Here both played Oct/Nov 10, the Home Alone Theme played Nov/Dec 09 and Dec 10, Straight No Chaser played Dec 08 and Oct/Nov 10, and First Snow, Come Undone, On the Edge and Color Tour each played in Dec 10. I do like hearing Love of Strings again BTW.Me too. I do like some of the classic repeats like Together We Will Conquer and Enchanted but if it's a best of playlist, then I can understand the 2011 repeats but seriously, Straight No Chaser, Green Onions, Monoliths, Love of Strings and Supernova for the umpteenth time? O_oOh yeah, I meant on the day that it started. Usually that's when people care about the list the most and consequently when we discuss about it the most
It would be a better playlist to me if the repeats were songs not played in several years (excluding RF) instead of several months ago. Like "Monoliths", I disliked it the first time, I loathed it the second and third time, and I absolutely hate it's back again the fourth time around. You can throw "Green Onions" in there too.
I actually like this list. Many of the repeats are songs that I really liked, especially "Monolith" from Maserati and "Together We Will Conquer" by Ryan Farish.

I guess this is some kind of a best of 2011 list, but it also seems to be a best of November/December list too, because a few songs have been used in those previous lists during those months. I am disappointed in the daytime list, because there are no new songs, and a few of the songs are better suited for overnight and primetime. Surprisingly, the primetime list looks good. There are some songs worth hearing again like Enchanted, Love of Strings and the Wave. I even like hearing Blue Sky again. The classical jazz songs like Straight No Chaser and Freddie Freeloader do sound fitting for this time of year, and kind of set the mood for the holidays. First Snow and the Home Alone Theme are obvious choices for this time of year. But like Phw said, this was the best year for playlists we have had since maybe 2008, so one recycled/best of list could be tolerated.
It is refreshing to hear these classics come back, though. It's funny how errors can make the primetime list better.
First it started during Irene when various dayparts were used in primetime, and now this apparent Intellistar error.
