Whoa Walk Dont Run by Herb Alpert just played  I like it!

Yeah, it is a very short song too. It is only 1:46, so it would only be used during the long-form programming.

Is she still on TWC? I have not seen her in a few weeks.  :dunno:

lol that's precisely the issue, the rotation is so bad that I only can hear the same songs over and over again. All I hear during daytime is Pan Funk , Diamond Eyes, Just Promise Me, Waiting for You and Take Me Away and in the primetime it's Diamond Eyes, Mag 11,Eminence Front and Beach Street Music song 1. The morning and overnight rotations however, are better.

Hopefully the rotation will get better this upcoming week, and we can hear more songs. I have been waiting to hear Jessica!!!!

Oops forgot to mention they have played his other ones :blushing: but Ive mostly heard Billie Jean on there unless I listen at bad times :P

That's OK. Tonight I heard Shake Your Body Down to the Ground, and a few days ago, I heard Don't Stop Till You Get Enough.

I heard Billie Jean on WRBQ 104.7 FM. Remember Billie Jean played on TWC on 7/7/09.
Theyve been playing that song too much after his death

As for me, I heard the Jefferson Starship version of "Find Your Way Back" (with Craig on the guitar) at the Thonotosassa, FL Winn-Dixie.

Hey, it is one of MJ's classics. I have no problem with it, whatsoever.   B) Plus, I have heard them play some of his other songs.

I have not heard the Herb Alpert, Jill Switzer or Dreams of Ibiza by BIckley Rivera either

I've heard and recorded "Dreams of Ibiza", but only a 90 sec. cut of it.

I have heard the Herb Alpert song at least once. I think I heard it after Storm Stories or something like that. The problem is exacerbated with the long-form programming on weekday afternoons and especially on weekends from the afternoon until the overnight hours. You'll only get to hear 1 min of the songs play, not even on the 8s!!  :hammer: I think that is when some of these unheard songs play.  The rotation needs to be tweaked very much, because there are a lot of quality songs throughout the playlist that should be played, but they are not. For instance, all I hear during most of the times I have turned during primetime is Magnificent Eleven, Eminence Front, and Diamond Eyes.   :dunno:

I agree. Magnificent Eleven is overplayed. I think a way of combatting this is to let TWC run on DVD or VCR for a few hours, to see if you can catch your favorite songs.

Choosing my top two:

Morning:
Windjammer - Ryan Farish
Colortones - Ryan Farish

Daytime:
Take Me Away - Bickley Rivera
Wishbone - Physical Therapy

Primetime:
Cliffs of Dover - Eric Johnson
Jessica - The Allman Brothers Band

Overnight:
BB King - The Thrill is Gone
In This Moment - Ryan Farish

Agreed! I love all of Ryan farish's music on this playlist, but number one song on this list is definately Cliffs of Dover. I actually haven't heard Jessica yet this month. I hope it's the September 2007 cut.

I haven't heard Jessica either. I remember when it first came on in April 2000.

I like smooth jazz and some of the old school funk they play like Shaft, the Thrill is Gone, and Satin Soul. I also like some of the soft rock songs.

This is the best overall playlist TWC has issued in a year.  :D I like the fact that there are more jazz songs, even in primetime. I like the return of long-time TWC classics like Wishbone, the Thrill is Gone, and Jessica.

It caught me a bit off guard to see her now as Kim Cunningham. That will take some getting used to. Was Kim Perez her original name?

I am not really into rock music, but I like some of No Doubt and Maroon 5's work, and also Lenny Kravitz. I even like some of System of a Down's stuff, especially Chop Suey.

Rap isn't twc music, Tavores. :P ( or at least I hope)
Magnificent Eleven could technically be considered rap...

For me Ill say jazz as long as it doesnt bore me and the soft rock :)

Rockit  and Wayne Gerard's Brand Nu Day have some scratching on it, too.
