I would have liked the Democrats to retain both the house and the senate, but you can't get things you're way everytime. I think a lot of Democrats screwed themselves over, by not rallying behind the President fully, and in many ways, echoing the attitudes of the right.  :club:  However, I am still very glad the senate is still in Democratic power.   :) The Republicans have been talking a lot, so it's up to them to (literally) put their money where their mouths are.

My bet is this current selection continues to play for another week or so then ttp://www.weather.com/tv/music/nov2010.html kicks in until the Holiday playlist starts
So they are not going to have a seperate Nov/Dec list like last year? If music is such a problem, why not assemble a "Best of 2010" playlist for pete's sake
Because nobody cares enough to do it?
its just hilarious how this is playing out, August/whatever comes next/then the future of music on TWC.
Haha yea

TWC doesn't seem to put much stock on the playlist anymore.

Selections from "A Charlie Brown Christmas" too.

Yup, particularly Linus and Lucy, Christmas Time is Here, and Skating.

I bet this will keep up. Most people do not even know there are playlists that change every couple months. I'm sure if I asked someone that watches TWC, but isn't into all of its inside information, (about 99% of viewers): "Do you know something is wrong with the local on the 8's playlist?" They would reply: "Huh? No... I don't know..."

Point: Most viewers won't even tell a difference.

I sure hope this is not our official November playlist.

No problem. I have fond memories of listening to JLP in 1997.

On Tuesday night, on ESPN Classic, I heard Jessica play in the background during a 1982 NBA Playoff game between the Washington Bullets and Boston Celtics.

Last night, I heard Rock Steady by the Whispers on the Music Choice R&B Classics channel.

This is probably a sign that the new playlist is on the horizon.

Rick "The Crook" Scott is now our governor, and Rubio is our senator.    Once a Republican state, always a Republican state.  :hammer:

It's kind of annoying how TWC isn't as organized with its playlists anymore. <_<  I know it's because they have more important things to worry about, but the old "drill" was nice. Once a new month rolled around, a new playlist started, this would be known as the "[Month] Playlist," and a new playlist started every single month. Now, playlists might be used for two months in a row and new ones don't necessarily start when the new month starts. :(

Yeah, there have been a couple playlists over the last year that have lasted up to three months.  <_<
