I updated the Local Forecast segment, and Weatherscan narrations were used here instead of Allen Jackson's narrations from previous emulations.

Like you and a lot of other longtime viewers, it just breaks my heart that TWC no longer cares about smooth jazz music or 2-minute LOT8s
I wish I could be TWC's programming director or the person who is in charge of the LOT8s. That way, the first thing I would do is eliminate the vocal music, bring back smooth jazz, cancel all long-form shows that have nothing to do with weather, and extend the LOT8s. But that is all just a fantasy, which brings even more pain and heartbreak

Normally I loathe all TWC long-form programming 
but I just had to share this.

According to the Chinook Observer, a local newspaper in my area, it says TWC is going to film a new installment of the "Coast Guard" series, called "Coast Guard Northwest." The film crew is going to be in my area for about a year to film 13 episodes for the new show. More info on this show should develop in the coming months.

Old Man "Winter" gave his last punch for the season here along coastal Washington and Oregon, bringing not snow, but strong gusty winds earlier this morning. After a chance of showers tomorrow and Friday, we're drying up and are forecast to see some sunshine
Looks like our good buddy Patrick was just about correct in terms of "forecasting" more drier and milder spring weather. Well, maybe only for here in Long Beach
