There were some pretty nasty thunderstorms that rolled through parts of eastern Washington, including where I was in the Grand Coulee area. I drove around the area and there were a lot downed trees. Here is a photo that I took of a downed tree and the damage it caused to a house in the town of Coulee Dam.

In Electric City, WA, it's currently 65º with light rain.

There were some pretty nasty line of strong to severe thunderstorms passing through my location about a half hour to an hour ago    Looks like the storms have died down and have moved out of the area.

The squeezeback local during a 2:00AM ET long-form show doesn't seem to be showing the current conditions at all anymore (just says "Data Not Available") since I first noticed this error about a week or two ago. Not sure if it's my STAR that's doing this or if it's all of the STARs nationwide

Somebody who updates weather.com forgot to drink their coffee this morning 

What state is that from, Alaska?    Maybe TWC doesn't care about forecasting accurate weather anymore. 

This forecast is for Astoria, Oregon. I was actually referring to the wrong partly cloudy icon for the tonight forecast.

Eight more days to go until my three-week break from work begins. It's a been a long stressful summer for me work-wise, and now I'm finally getting some much-needed vacation time      I'll be heading out of town on Saturday the 24th to visit relatives.

As of yesterday I started using Chromium (an open source web browser similar to Chrome) and I found out that PepperFlash was to blame for the weird YT video loading on Chrome and subsequent computer freezes. Chromium does not have PepperFlash, so I started using the new browser and I was able to play the videos that weren't loading correctly on Chrome, and they all work great!   

So it's goodbye Chrome and hello Chromium, as the latter will now be my new default web browser
