As of 3:00PM PT today, my cable headend, Charter, has suddenly blacked out their HD TWC feed on Clear QAM channel 97.1, along with a few other QAM channels that I have received. 
I guess Charter must have moved TWC HD to a different package and then re-scrambled it until I upgrade my cable. 
EDIT: As of 7PM PT, TWC HD on channel 97.1 is back on the air. Turns out that the signal was only in an outage stage.

I had another computer freeze problem with Chromium OS last night, but I did some research and I read that someone said that others who have had this issue seemed to have solved the problem by uninstalling their RealTek audio driver and then re-installing it with the latest version. So I tried that, and then I tested out the main reason for my computer's latest freeze, a Halloween flash video of the Google logo. No more freezes! 
Now I'm hoping that the updated audio driver will work for some of the YouTube videos that I had trouble loading in the past on Chrome/Chromium that also subsequently froze my computer. Fingers are crossed...

Sounds like TWC is interested in long-form programming more than the live stuff. 
Even if they plan to run the new LDL 24/7 during those blocks (long-form), I still wouldn't watch the shows unless there is a weather event happening in my area and then I would check to see what the conditions are for my area.

Hard to believe that it's been almost nine years since these babies were decommissioned:
Anyways, I attempted to re-create an image of the 3000's CC screen in Adobe Photoshop, using real weather info from weather.com. The text is the real 3000 text (downloaded from TWC Classics BTW) and I attempted to stretch out the text so it would look almost exactly like the real thing. For the guide layer, I used a still image of one of my old video recordings of a real 3000. Took me about 40-45 minutes to make this image.
So what do you guys think?

The fog icon made a rare appearance on my STAR's 7-day:
I've also seen the blue box on the regular STARs in the past, and the box has made appearances on the Dish STAR as well.
