Since many headends have already discontinued the TWC SD feeds in favor of IS2/HD feed simulcasts, I imagine that it won't be long before The Weather Channel will probably start forcing the remaining headends who do not yet have the IS2 (such as mine) to get one soon. 
In the case where a headend does not offer TWC in HD, they'll probably have to get an IS2 Jr instead.

Missing news ticker during WCL on the SD feed. This glitch has been occurring today between :59 and :06 every hour. The ticker on the HD feed isn't affected.

Perhaps someone was trying to hack into my account?
OK, I got an e-mail with such a message this afternoon. Very strange. I am not aware of any such hacking activity, but I guess it wouldn't hurt to change your password just in case. Sorry for the inconvenience. Has anyone else gotten this e-mail?
Just checked my Gmail again and since yesterday I've received more of the same messages, one in my inbox, and two in my spam folder. This is very strange indeed.
So far my password remains the same, but I guess if this kinda thing continues then I might as well change it.

And yet TWC is now airing the so-called "weather" shows as if nothing has happened. I too will give this about a month or two before Verizon and The Weather Channel kiss and make up on a new carriage agreement.
