Speaking of the elderly, I can't imagine what one old person might saying if they came across long-form programming on TWC. They might be saying, "Hey, where's my weather?!?" I bet almost none of the old people have all the fancy computer and internet technology and smartphones like the younger people do, where they get their weather from nowadays. The elderly would just probably stop watching TWC altogether and just watch something else on the tube. I think the programming director at TWC needs to think about that IMO

A local real estate agency in Long Beach, WA (the same one my girlfriend and I visited earlier this month) phoned me last week about another rental place (the previous one we submitted an app for was apparently taken by someone else) that is about to be vacated imp. The previous location on the app we submitted for will be forwarded to the soon-to-be-vacated location imp. We plan to head back to LB next week to check out the place imp. It looks promising for us to move hopefully by the end of next month imp

I have owned a Mangavox DVD recorder/VCR combo box (pic shown on attachment) since my 22nd birthday in December of 2009. Bought it at a local Wal-Mart for about $160.
I had already transferred all of my old VHS-recorded TWC tapes to DVDs with this box. I still use it, mainly for recording TWC and other stuff on TV as well as transferring old VHS tapes to DVD. It's the best device I've ever bought and used IMO, and it's still in excellent condition

« on: May 13, 2012, 11:40:01 AM »On my local accuweather channel, they were playing Storm Stories this morning. They played it for an hour, then looped back to the weather feed with music. Has anyone heard of Storm Stories playing on channels outside of TWC? The older episodes were my favourite, but they were playing the episode of the March 2006 Missouri tornado
Occasionally on my TV guide, I've seen syndicated versions of SS airing on my local ABC affiliate as well as on my local MyNetworkTV affiliate (both channels are shared by the same local news group.)
