Now that it's November 5th, five weeks after TWC's alleged 'deadline' to replace all remaining IntelliSTAR 1 units, I find it amazing how there are still very few IS1 units left out there including mine.   I wonder what will happen if all IS1 cable headends fail to acquire an IntelliSTAR 2 XD or Jr within 11 days from now, when TWC is supposed to discontinue IS1 service.

I was very shocked to hear the sad news. :( Martin was a true friend to all of us here. He will be missed dearly. May his spirit forever dwell within our hearts. R.I.P. Martin.

Today is October 21, 2015... wasn't there supposed to be a flying DeLorean arriving on this date from 1985 or something?

Great to see that this site is back up and running after it was down all day yesterday. So I guess anyone who tried accessing yesterday are wondering, what exactly happened to the site that got HostGator to suspend it?

The Low 999º glitch that was happening earlier this evening has also affected Weatherscan as well. Just checked multiple photos posted on TWC's Facebook page to confirm this.

General Discussion / Re: What's Your Speedtest and Pingtest results?
« on: October 13, 2015, 10:41:14 AM »
Much better speeds than yesterday.

Charter apparently had a statewide internet slowdown/outage all day yesterday and a lot of other customers were very angry about it. Speeds were sooo slow even the speed tests never finished. Great to see the improvements though.

Hurricane Central / Re: Cent. Pacific Hurricane Oho
« on: October 09, 2015, 12:10:11 AM »
Although Oho will be way offshore, a large swell generated by that storm is expected to bring dangerous high surf and breaking waves here on the Oregon and Washington coasts this weekend, according to the NWS.
