Yeah, I would have to agree with you on the situation, Martin   The autumn equinox is on a Saturday, but I imagine people will have a lot on their hands when it comes to school, despite that it's on a weekend. Maybe we could reschedule the LAT48s to a new date that might seem more convenient for everyone else here, like on another weekend or maybe a holiday? What do you suggest?

I did not hear the monthly tsunami siren test go off from my house in Long Beach just a few moments ago.

I was wondering if we can do another LAT48s, the first for this year. I was thinking maybe on the first day of autumn (September 22nd) at around 7:58PM ET? What do you guys think?

I like how the music is all instrumentals now and such, but I'm most certain that the vocal music will return to TWC sooner or later, unless the network eliminated the vocal music in response to the cries and criticism from the long-time viewers.   I guess we'll just have to find out what happens next, won't we?

Neither.

Would you rather visit the Space Needle or the Grand Canyon?

If vocal music counts, I heard "When It's Over" by Sugar Ray play at the end of the film "The Sweetest Thing" which was playing on the Style Network last night (of course, that film was from 2002.)

OT: I didn't actually watch the whole film. I landed on the film's credits scene on accident while channel-surfing and the song was playing  :whistling:  :P

Looks like the second season of "Iron Men" will premiere this Thursday September 6 instead of yesterday's scheduled premiere due to coverage of Isaac, according to a YouTube video TWC posted.

Spokane had a big nasty windstorm in June of 2005, with a record sustained wind speed of 77 miles per hour. That knocked out power for a lot of residents at the time, including me and my folks, which lasted for about 6 or 7 hours.
According to the history data at KGEG, it was only a gust of 77mph, the sustained wind was only 62.1mph.
Oh, I must have mixed up the gust with the sustained wind. I knew 77 MPH was one or the other. Thanks for the correction.
