Too many to list, but I have Directv's Choice Ultimate package.

I thought you've had Cox?

EDIT: I saw you changed your provider to DirecTV, so never mind  :P

At first, I completely hated the vocal music when they started playing it a few months ago, but then I kinda got used to it and then just accepted it  :itsok:  I imagine TWC added the vocal music just for ratings and money, and if that's what they're doing, then we the viewers will just have to probably accept it, right?
I mean ratings and money dont really have anything to do with the local on the 8s. It probably cost a lot more to license the vocal songs. Its about attracting audiences and keeping people interested. Songs people recognize and relate to help draw them in more and pay closer attention. Smooth jazz is nice but few people appreciate it. I think its a smart idea. I've enjoyed many of the selections they picked. I do miss the fact that TWC was a place to find and discover jazz music. :(

I miss the smooth jazz myself  :(

If TWC wants to change the music on the LOT8s to attract more viewers, then I guess it's best to just live with it.

Let's all be thankful that the LOT8s is still around  ;)  despite that there are less of them during long-form blocks.

TWC: This was [suspension of vocals], indeed, due to Isaac coverage. Vocals will be back soon – most likely tomorrow.

I knew I had a feeling they would bring back the vocal music now that coverage of Isaac has finished  :hmm:

I figured since that we haven't done a LAT48s this year yet, I would ask if we could do one, but I'm with Zach on this one. Let's wait until the winter solstice to do a LAT48s. That way, no one has a lot on their hands when it comes to school.

Yeah, I would have to agree with you on the situation, Martin   The autumn equinox is on a Saturday, but I imagine people will have a lot on their hands when it comes to school, despite that it's on a weekend. Maybe we could reschedule the LAT48s to a new date that might seem more convenient for everyone else here, like on another weekend or maybe a holiday? What do you suggest?

I would suggest this weekend because school is just starting and most members won't have alot of workload at the beginning.

Good point. We'll see what Martin thinks.
